Good quality, fit NSG

Overall a good quality jacket, however: The 4XL sleeves are too tight and more suited to a 2XL, and the side pocket openings are too far to the rear to access comfortably.

New “Improved” Sizes?

I bought this jacket in an EX Large size as click and collect. The delivery was as prompt as normal, but when I tried it on it was just too small. I tend to like my jackets on the snug side, however it was just too small. I returned the jacket to my nearest store, and while I was there I tried on another EX Large, which again didn’t fit me. I then tried on an EXX Large which was too large. In general since M&S introduced their “New Improved Size” ranges I have found that that has meant a reduction in size in virtually all ranges, resulting in unreliable sizing. I really liked the jacket style and it seemed like reasonable value, but the fit was a real disappointment.

Nice lightweight jacket. Fits very well and feels good to wear. The pockets are handy, nice strong zip and folds neatly into a small bag if required.

Looks good on the model but the zip does not align and workmanship poor and clumsy. Not a patch on M&S clothes of the past. Wore it a few times and now in the charity bag.
