Easy assembly bedroom furniture

I found these units very easy to put together, (in fact the easiest ever), contrary to any other review on that aspect and I am not skilled in any way. Only negative is the final locking key fit. No clear instruction whatsoever and had to shorten some of them so that the pull tag was hard up to the unit and clear of the wall to avoid damage to wall paint. Other than that, the units are gorgeous to look at and sturdy enough. I am happy.

Fabulous furniture (bought the range)

We bought this set from store as we wanted to see what it looked like in the flesh type thing. and we loved it!! We originally considered the Hastings range, as we had bought the bed frame a few years ago, but when we seen this, we went for it as it had a smooth curved design and liked the wooden look detailing. Ideal design with little ones with it having smooth edges. It was tricky to start with as hubby and I were trying to get to grips with the interlocking system, as there are no screws!! Once we got the hang of the double wardrobe, we were then able to then build the 4 + 2 chest of drawers, the triple wardrobe version and narrow tower set of drawers within 1 evening. Love the wide handles to open and close and smooth runners. Very happy!!

Total waste of money

Only gave it one star as zero wasn’t available Terrible piece of furniture to put together keeps coming apart as no fixings just clicks together. The only way to achieve it holding was by using wood glue. Total waste of money DO NOT BUY

I bought this about a month ago. Delivery was longer than expected/advertised. Product arrived, easy wardrobe to put together, clicks in place most of the time with only a couple of screws required. Doors a little fiddly with the hinges, needed someone with a little more brute strength to put them on. Choose purely due to colour and then the size to fit a small double bedroom.

I bought the double wardrobe to go in same room as a single “Arlo” wardrobe and bedside drawers that I purchased last year - they are a very similar design and therefore a good match . The wardrobe itself is great - the method of construction and the instructions to go with it are abysmal. It took us nearly 4 hours (in two separate attempts) We had dismantled a 42 year old wardrobe and had reassembled it in my sons house in less time than it took to assemble the new wardrobe!

This piece looks gorgeous don’t get me wrong but it is not worth the hassle! 20 mins assembly? I think it mean to say 200 minutes assembly because that’s how long it took my husband and my dad to put this together! My mum bought this wardrobe for my sons nursery, it looks fabulous now it’s up, but it’s so hard to line up the sides with the back, it requires a lot of elbow grease and more than a dozen knocks and bashes to get it into place firmly. Do yourself a favour and go for a wardrobe that has installation included in price! Another downside is the styrofoam in the packaging, I know they have to pack it but can’t they use recyclable materials! So wasteful! Please M&S my children have to live on this planet when we are gone! Try to be more eco. However. I do love the wardrobe now it’s up. No denying how nice it looks.

This arrived after a very long wait. Item looks very nice and am pleased with that. Unfortunately the idea you can put this together in 20 minutes is beyond me. We spent 1hr 35 minutes and didn't even finish. The screws to secure the hinges to the doors must have been faulty or of the poorest quality as 3 of them broke off. Now a big problem as will need to drill them out and as none of us are experienced to do that will have to pay some one to hopefully come and repair the problem somehow, if it can be repaired that is and after covid restrictions are lifted. I am so unhappy with this product. I would only recommend this item to an experienced DIY person. So much for the easy click and put together advancement in flat pack furniture design.

Like others have said, the 20 minute estimate for assembling is a joke. Did do it within 1.5 hours. Built in the hallway and shifted to bedroom - no problem. Definitely a two person job and to start with, no screws so rather worrying but the click assembly works. Hardest part was getting the back panel to stay sturdy enough to slot in to line and fit the top. A little bit of trouble to get all door hinges aligned to click into place all at once but we did it. Now looking to buy a cabinet to go with it.

weirdly no screws holding it together so a bit worrying to start with however it does appear very sturdy. Nice colour and perfect size for a guest room. It says 20 minutes to put together (funny) 2 hours is more accurate. But a lot of the ‘bits’ already in place so an improvement over other flat packs. Over all I am happy with the result

Not as good as I thought it would be

I rarely buy on line as I like to review the quality on sensory appreciation. The product is well documented featuring robust hardy wood design with 10 year guarantee etc. The 20 minute 2 man person assembly was a gross miscalculation and is not easy to stabilise and construct at the same time. Despite moving the pieces into position multiple times, it’s edges moved out of position too often as they lacked depth once ‘clicked’ into position. The wardrobe came apart twice on moving into the desired position meaning a few hardy knocks were required to marry the end panels up. If you have to fit into a tight space on final positioning then safer to tie the unit with straps because vertical movements to back the wardrobe in results in moveable panels! The doors had to be adjusted multiple times to sit flush and one door was slightly out in the precut handle space meaning the handle doesn’t fit flush on one door. Too flimsy and I probably wouldn’t have bought if I’d seen a unit in store.
