Checked Demi Ankle Strap Sandals

I bought these to wear for a party & by the time I’d walked 200 yards to the end of my road my ankles were sore. I ended up with big, bleeding sores on both ankles. They do look nice but they are heavy and exceptionally uncomfortable.

Check fabric sandals. Lovely but, very big I take a 6-7 in most M&S shoes. I ordered a 61/2. Way too big an inch plus. Too big at the toes & 1/2 an inch too big at the heal. Also small manufacturing glue marked on one shoe. Returned didn't reorder as out of stock. Once again sizing is an issue. However, had this been part of the description. It would have been ok.

These shoes are amazing and I am obsessed with the way that they look... however if anyone is planning to walk in these shows further than two steps, I would strongly advise that you don’t purchase these shoes. The way that these shoes look are amazing, however after hours of wearing these shoes, I have cuts and blisters across my feet, and ankles especially, where the shoes were too heavy and cut into my heels. I now can’t wear shoes with a back until my heals recover! Not the most pleasant experience.

Love these sandals, ordered my regular size (UK size 3) and they do fit but I am lucky that I have very thin ankles, as the strap is so tight. I literally have the buckle on the hole closest to the end of the strap. Bear this in mind when ordering! I think the next size up would be too big in the foot. Anyway I kept them and have received many compliments when I wore them! There were no reviews at the time I ordered mine but I see since that there have been comments about the smallness of these sandals!

I loved the look of these shoes in the photos. The gingham was very pretty. So I visited my local store and tried them on and was really disappointed. Yes - they are quirky and pretty. The plain ones were a little bland for my taste. Yes - they are a perfect fit for my wide feet. No - they are really, really heavy. Which was a nasty surprise so I decided not to buy them. The black ones are just as heavy too! Such a shame.

These are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous and a great price BUT there's no 'give' on the sole; it's like walking on bricks. The ankle strap also has no give - if the strap had some elastic in it they'd be much easier to wear. Gutted because these are just what I was looking for and the price is amazing (especially with the current offer). SO disappointed.
