Charcoal Tailored Fit Italian Wool Jacket

Before going into the M&S store I knew what I wanted - a straightforward understated but smart grey suit that fitted well. I especially like that the trousers were neither baggy or too slim fitting. This suit was ideal.

white lining for charcoal jacket? it was visible from the side under the collar. not to mention the poor design. very disappointed.

Bought almost the same suit 2 years on but tailored now appears to be regular so we took it back. Unfortunately the slim fit isn’t in stock. We can’t buy suits locally anymore which is a nightmare!

One sleeve of this jacket was not cut/sewn correctly and hung badly being on the twist. The collar was surprisingly lined with a white and black fine checked material which showed at the collar edge. I have purchased M&S suits in the past which are well made, look smart and wear well.so very disappointed with this Autograph premium range suit jacket (and waistcoat). Returned to M&S for a refund.

We had had to order the jacket of this suit and so my husband only tried it on at home the evening before he was due to go on a business trip. I noticed the underside of the collar had a pale black and white checked lining, which could be seen at the edge of the collar from the front as no margin had been left to hide it. There was no time to return it so I was forced to use a black marker pen to colour in the edge of the collar to disguise the lining showing. As I have done this I feel I cannot now return the jacket, so we paid a lot for a less than perfect garment that we expected to be of high quality. therefore very disappointing.

Ordered for my husband in his normal M&S size poor fit so had to return
