Brown Regular Fit Jacket

The jacket itself is fine in terms of material, colour and style. However, the size is completely of of sync with the same style jacket I bought previously. My old jacket is 48s. The new one is 46s, as I have shed a few pounds... But, the new jacket is noticeably larger than the old one both in sleeve and chest. Annoyingly, I've gone online to purchase the 44s smaller sized jacket but it's not longer available at the sale price. Hey ho. This isn't the first time I've had sizing issues when purchasing online, and after years of loyalty I am beginning to doubt M&S' quality control and with that my confidence in buying online.

This jacket fits perfectly and looks a lot more expensive than it is. Material feels good and is a lovely rich colour. Sheds creases easily and stays looking good from morning to night.

I really like the style and colour of this suit so was very disappointed when 5 out of 5 of the jackets in my size that I tried on all had visible faults. There would appear to be a quality control issue? I bought 3 jacket via click and collect and all had to be returned, I also tried on 2 jackets in store and found these had the same faults. Faults included non alignment of buttons and button holes, a visible fault in the fabric of one jacket, front panel of one jacket longer on one side than the other and rear vent assembled wrongly making the jacket hang unevenly on one side.

This jacket fits like a dream, just what you would expect from M&S. it has 2 vents in the jacket which I like. I purchased this as a suit, and it looks very stylish.
