Big & Tall Tailored Wool Blend Trousers

I needed a pair of black trousers for the works Christmas party. These fit perfectly and are just the right length.

Incredibly thin material. These trousers are very poorly made. The styling of these trousers is very odd with the waist being particularly low cut, in comparison to similarly sized trousers from 3 other UK retailers. These trousers are all equal in leg length, but overall shorter in full trouser length. In particular, the area between the top of the leg and the waistband is substantially shorter on these trousers, than any of the other brands. Overall it really does not look like any sort of quality control was undertaken on these trousers and you can purchase better quality at a fraction of the cost from a myriad of supermarket chains. Very disappointing for Marks and Spencers!

Stupidly short pockets. When you sit down your keys and change will fall out. Cheaper pairs from Marks have longer pockets you can put things in. Why not do that with these??? Returned :-(

Having read the other reviews I was concerned about the fit. For a tall slim person these are one of the best fits I have come across for the price. For some reason I can find jeans that are long enough but suit trousers are always a problem. This is a good product for my shape.

I have bought these previously, a couple of years ago. They are great, I have a few pairs. These have the same description, but the material and shaping are completely different, I would say poor quality... so had to return! Shame.

Short in the rise by 2 inches so the fit is very poor. Can't understand why the fit is 'tailored' for the size selected. Have bought wool blend flat front trousers from M&S for years but now all the trousers in the standard range are too small, hence the purchase from the Big & Tall range. The sizing seems to be completely different to what it used to be. My old pair is 4 inches smaller in the waist than this item and fit perfectly. Can't find any trousers to fit in the entire range. Very disappointing.

After a long absence M&S now sell a reasonably priced pair of washable trousers for work I need a pair of smart trousers for work in a dirty environment. Not keen on polyester and wool trousers cost a fortune in dry cleaning bills. A little tight around the bum but other than that very good quality

These trousers are only big in the waist. The rest is normal to slim. The zip distance is very short i.e. gusset to waist. This makes them impossible to fit properly. No allowance has been made for a normal sized person let alone a waist size of 46 inches with a large behind. Very disappointed at this price.

Very tight, seem more like slim/skinny fit than tailored

Same as other reviewers, I have bought the wool mix trousers before but these new ones are very narrow in the leg especially at the top to the point of restricting movement.

Nice trousers, but very narrow legs. Had to return them. It does say tailored fit lower down in the advert but the main part of the advert says "perfectly proportioned". Perfect if you are thin and tall, not for "big and tall". Shame, as there is a market here for normally-shaped tall men that M&S is neglecting.

I've had many of these trousers in the past with no complaints but these are a terrible fit, only the waist is larger, the legs are like slim fit so clearly no thought gone into the design, I would not recommend on this experience.
