Beauty Advent Calendar 2018

I’ve had one of these advent calendars every year since they launched and I’m a big fan but this year’s was a little disappointing... It just seemed to be very similar items day after day. Obviously not all the same but previous years have had some great primer samples to try and they were sadly lacking this year! Won’t stop be buying again next year but I just think we need some new products as several have been repeated over the years and I love trying new things!

A surprise beauty treat everyday throughout Advent which did not disappoint. Good design and all iconic products.

The advent calendar is made up of 25 boxes with different products in each. I loved the products and the little comment hints on each box. Only point I would improve is write the hint on the opposite side to the number. Some are there and others didn't. You can then turn the box over as you take them out and have all the hints showing by the end. Would buy again. Loved the perfume

I loved everything about this until I got the exact same balance me eye cream in 3 different boxes. I had seen all the hype on tv and in store so I bought one for myself and one for a friend. We both loved it but mine was missing items

Some Ok products, some duff ones including a travel sized blusher brush that is of no use to anyone over the age of 8. Feels like the products are lower quality and from less established brands than last year. Also a couple of items have been replicated from last year which in my opinion were the less impressive items last year so I definitely didn’t want them twice in a row! . This year the calendar reflects the overall struggle that M&S are experiencing. It’s a shame as last years was amazing.

This is the second year I have bought one of these for my daughter, but not sure I will buy again next Christmas. She absolutely loved it last year (to the point of posting daily Instagram stories as she opened the boxes) but this year she's been a bit disappointed as so many of the items are the same as (or a slight variation of) 2017's offering. She has also said that the packaging is not so good (with which I agree - last year's was so lovely and this year's a bit utilitarian) and that it seems to be aimed at an older demographic (quite a few anti-ageing products which she gives to me!). Having said all that, it is without doubt great value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who hasn't had one before!

This is my fourth year running that I have purchased the M&S beauty advent calendar for my daughter in law, sister and neice. This has become a tradition in my family, every year it just improves which I did not think was possible. The thought that goes io this each year is very evident. I have never purchased one for myself and every year I say I we but definitely will get 4 next year, thank you so much for making such an effort. Every year before making my purchase I research all of the calendars on line and there is absolutely no comparison.

Absolutely loving it!I think so far it's even better than previous years if that is possible! The only disappointment was with the first window; the L'Occitane shower gel had leaked everywhere and when I opened the box the lid to the shower gel was open and there was only about a third left in the bottle. Other than that, it's fab!

I love these beauty calendars! Lovely samples of products I would never have bought. Gives me an sample to try before buying and I get a fun surprise gift every day before xmas.

The girls in the office bought M&S Advent calendars last year and I was so jealous. This year I had to have one. So, we've reached the halfway point and I can honestly say I've not been disappointed. Hopefully, there will be another next year...........

My husband bought this for me. I spontaneous buy because I can never justify anything like this. It's a real WOW! Lots of amazing products to try and I really look forward to each daily surprise. Definitely having one next year!

Absolutely love the calendar. Very happy with the products inside - all of which are amazing. Would definitely buy again.

Maybe a bit mature for me but I think the products are very high quality Will be using most myself and any I don’t I will use as stocking fillers

I absolutely love this advent calendar. I'm currently on day 7 , but I am already speechless and loving every single item so far. Even my boyfriend is kind of 'jealous' of me opening it each morning and he is hoping that M&S will do one for men too in 2019. I think it would be a great idea to have advent calendar for him & her ! Please , please M&S ! :) Lots of Love, Monta
