Bit late for 2919 but look out for these for Christmas 2020. Not everyone likes chocolate & this makes a great alternative. I Wish I’d seen this product earlier I would have bought a couple for friends & one for my mother too. I do hope you will have them again next year and that they will be more widely available & advertised earlier. Great idea well done M & S.

Bought as a gift for my auntie who loves jigsaws. She lived the idea. However was very disappointed to find that there was one piece missing. There was also another very poorly cut piece. Shame as was a very good idea but now have an incomplete jigsaw :(

Great Jigsaw - shame about the missing piece!

We really enjoyed doing this advent jigsaw. We were slightly annoyed at the end when we realised we had one missing piece. We had an extra piece too! I had hoped we could reuse the advent box but some of the windows ripped when we opened them. Hopefully these can be fixed with a glue stick.

This puzzle was very disappointing. We got to the last day, and realised there were 5 pieces missing from the puzzle. What a sad way to start Christmas day! Clearly some production issues here...

Not designed to be completed day by day

This was v disappointing, I certainly wouldn't recommend. Nice quality, seemed like perfect idea for my mum but each day the pieces are a random mix from anywhere on the jigsaw, so you can’t complete a section each day to count off the days to christmas - surely that is the whole point of advent? You cannot complete any part of the puzzle til christmas day. This confused my mum enormously in the first few days, then after that she stopped opening doors and put it aside. Such a shame. Why couldn't each day be a little section of the puzzle?

This jigsaw is very good . It has added challenge because each window you open has haphazard pieces .They can be any part of the picture. As the month progresses it becomes easier to match them. I have opened window 20 today so it's nearing completion . I hope you produce them again ( different picture ). It is great fun to do and has given me a daily break from Christmas activity . Added bonus is that the box makes a lovely scene with fairy lights on it .

I love this so much. I bought it for myself because I didn't feel like a cheap chocolate one, and I like puzzles. It helps that I have always liked doing puzzles, of course, but it's so much fun to piece it together slowly and try and fit things in as you go along. I am not letting anyone help me with it. Buy it even as a Christmas day puzzle - I have noticed it's very reduced now! It's very good quality in terms of the thickness/ stability of the puzzle pieces, and as long as I haven't lost any pieces I am going to keep this to do another year. I'm getting one next year, too - hope they change the picture!!

This is a lovely calendar, each day you get a packet of puzzle pieces. They are beautifully packaged and fit together well. You have to wait for a week to start but when you get going it is great. Would be happy to buy a different one next year.

Bought for my daughter-in-law as she loves doing jigsaw puzzles. I thought that she would be able to put together the puzzle pieces for each day. Disappointingly, it seems that you have to collect all/most of the pieces before beginning to make the puzzle. However, the quality is very good and I'm sure she will enjoy making it once she has enough pieces.

Not what I expected

While this puzzle seems to be of good quality and a good price, it is NOT what I expected. I thought it would contain 25 mini-puzzles and that we'd complete one each day until Christmas when they'd collectively create a festive street scene. Most of the pieces of Day 1 do not link together and seem to come from all over the scene. I suspect we'll need wait many days until we have enough linked pieces to start assembling any part of this puzzle.

Saw this and bought 2, 1 each for myself and my friend, both jigsaw lovers. We've opened the first window today and already had fun texting about the pieces inside. PLEASE do these every year M&S, they're so different and giving us a daily fun thing to do :)))

Well what a brilliant idea , However very disappointing as I stupidly thought each day you get a piece of the puzzle you could piece together and by Christmas Day the whole puzzle would be finished, the concept is good , however day 1 only 4 of the 20+ pieces fit together This was very frustrating , my children have previously had advent calender that they make something each day and by 24th a science had been mad by linking all pieces together I thought this would be the same What a shame Puzzle seems good quality and price very good
