Bought two packs of the grey colour. Socks very good quality, would have given 5 stars but one pack had been tampered with, label missing and 1 pair of socks. Self isolating so not able to return for replacement.

These are great but do get my feminist hackles up as the quality is way above that of ladies socks. Please do these exact socks and add to your web page for women’s socks and more colours would be good

These arrived at the end of last week and there are only 9 socks in the pack. I am now going to have to drive to my nearest M&S - 30 miles or so each way once the firebreak ends - to exchange them! A pity as they seem to be good quality!

Not cotton

I previously bought some quarter length white cotton socks but when I wanted to buy some more they were out of stock and I was shown these as their replacement. However they are obviously not cotton but some sort of synthetic material for which there were no details on the labels. I much prefer 100% cotton socks.

Inconsistency with sizes

A very nice sock for quality and a neat feature to help with fitting is the 'L' on one and the 'R' on the other of a pair of socks that is let down by the Inconsistency with sizes, so beware! I bought a pack of five in the store that were a good fit, but another pack bought online have been smaller although the pack size is the same 12-14 the largest available.

Loved the design of these socks, but only discovered they were made from artificial material after I received them. They are 98% polyamide (nylon). I expect natural fibres from M&S. They should have been named Sweatyfeet!

Rather thick

These sock are uncomfortable and rather thick. They sort of remind me of socks your mum knitted for you. Not at all comfortable to wear and made my normal feet very sweaty. Perhaps in the deepest winter, but not for everyday use.

Avoid these socks, they feel as if they were made of plastic.

Good size with ankle coverage. Didn't realise they weren't predominantly cotton but they are comfy and seem as if they might be more hard wearing than cotton anyway. Happy with them as they fulfill the purpose for which they were bought.

A bit on the small size. I sent the previous pair back and ordered these larger ones.

Not bad but they are not as robust as 100% cotton sports socks. My feet do slide a little when wearing them out running but I didn’t get any blisters and my feet were sweat free. Once washed they did shrink a little but I allowed for that when purchasing.

He frowned when he saw them. Not like his usual ones. Went to golf... for a week... came home and said they were great and better than his usual ones. Comfortable and luxurious feel on his feet.

I bought the socks for my son as he now wears shoe size 5. Unfortunately this is not what I would recommend. The socks do not contain any cotton and therefore not particular comfortable. It's also a bit tight around the angle. I will not buy these socks again.
