Good quality shirt nice fit

I always but M&S 2inch longer due my slightly long arms and broad shoulders. This shirt has nice collar and cuff detail. The tailored fit is a bit slimmer than regular which means less excess material in the body for those who suffer longer arms. Very nice material with slight sheen so looks better than a standard shirt. The best bit is buying these at £23 an absolute bargain.

Too big shirt

Sadly had to return this. For a person 6' 7" they need longer length but for size 18" collar the chest was something like 50" plus and this was meant to be tailored fit!! NOT ALL TALL PEOPLE ARE THAT WIDE ROUND BODY.

Shirt is great quality and fits well, the problem is the collar. Bought 2 shirts both collars are crinkled on one side, ironing doesn't flatten them. There is a problem with whatever is used inside the collar.

A very nice shirt - and a dilemma

This is a very nice shirt. Any issues I have with it are my fault, not the shirt's. It's my non-standard shape. As a man gets older his muscles sag and waste away a bit and for me this means that my collar size is now fifteen as opposed to fifteen and a half and this in turn means that the sleeve length on a size fifteen is a crucial half inch shorter than that of a fifteen and a half. So my dilemma is: do I buy fifteen and a half inch collar, giving me perfect sleeve length but a tad too big round the neck, or drop to fifteen and get a perfect fit round the neck but just a shade short at the cuff? It gets more complicated with this shirt. It's a tailored fit which, at collar size fifteen means it hugs my torso like a second skin so I have to be careful what I do when wearing it. Heavy breathing, waving my arms around, laughing uproariously, are risky, so I have to be careful what I do when wearing it. But it's such a nice shirt I couldn't bear to take it back, so I keep it for best collar and tie events to wear with my M&S tailored fit grey suit. It looks really great as long as I behave with decorum. It's such a nice shirt. (And suit) I have rated it as 'good' in terms of fit, but it may be excellent for someone of a different build to me. M&S have a good range of extra tall clothing - their two inches longer series of shirts (and pullovers) is great for my shape, notwithstanding my shrinking neck size. And the best deal they do , for me, is the two inches longer standard fit shirt. That's just about a perfect fit for me. M&S is the only major retailer that can supply the tall, slim male (6ft4 and a bit, 11.5stone, slim build) with a whole range of clothing off the peg. My impression is that they are expanding the range of colours/styles in their two inches longer range, which is good news. If you're anything like my size, check out their stuff in 'Big and Tall'. I recommend them. This is a very nice shirt.

Beware of FIT

I bought this shirt online (along with two others) as my M&S do not carry the "2 inch longer" range. I read the heading 2 inch longer, Supima,. If I come across "slim fit" or "tailored fit" in the heading, I move right on. I need 19 inch collar 2 inch longer REGULAR fit. Not once in the heading of this shirt or the other two did it sat tailored or slim fit. But the three shirts that arrived were all of these. It isn't until you read way down the online page that these shirts are either slim or tailored fit. Very disappointing. Marks & Spencer need to state at the top of the page the fit of every shirt!!!

Bought this for my husband and he is really happy with the fit and quality. I find all M&S shirts shrink after a certain number of washes, but because this is 2" longer to start with, hopefully it won't be so much of an issue. He also liked the bigger buttons.

Nearly a Great Shirt

This shirt is let down by one thing - the buttons. Never have I come across a shirt with buttons so thick. They are incredibly difficult button-up. Obviously, with the ones on the sleeves are one-handed jobs and they are like the worse cuff link you have ever bought - near impossible to use.
