I was supplied with two left footed boots. Made walking really difficult.

I have recently been considering my own 'conditions of worth', a foundational element of humanistic psychology. In doing so, what I have discovered is that these Marks and Spencer Waterproof Pull-On Wellington Boots, size 9, make me feel 'relevant' in today's increasingly complex and varied society. Furthermore, when paired with my Pomeranian dog face pants, I genuinely feel a profound sense of being both 'heard' and 'seen' by society as a whole. It is rare that footwear can facilitate this level of existential alignment, yet here we are. I can wholeheartedly recommend these Marks and Spencer Waterproof Pull-On Wellington Boots, to anyone else facing an existential loss of meaning, or identity crisis.

Ridiculous sizing

I bought these wellington boots for my husband. I wish I had looked at the reviews first regarding the sizes. I ordered his normal size 10 and they were enormous. Sent them back and ordered a size 9, also too big. Ended up with a size 8 which finally fit. The boots are great but order 2 sizes smaller.

Very big but good!

As with every other reviewers on these boots I am glad I read all the reviews as they do come up very large - if there had been a half size I would have gone for an eight and half instead of my usual size ten but the nine is OK. The Boots are well made with good upper thickness rubber and a sturdy, grippy sole, my only negative point is they are not very warm - if they had had either a neoprene or fleece lining they would be 5 stars excellent.

Great for muddy wet days

Bought these for husband after I bought a women’s pair in the autumn. I have worn them all winter. V comfy and padded underfoot. Husband bought size smaller as recommended by other reviews. Still plenty of room in smaller size and room for thick socks so buy a size smaller is the suggestion. Women's sizes true to size.

First pair were damaged by delivery company. Had to buy an addition two pairs to make sure one was good enough to keep. Whatever size you are, go a size smaller. M&S buyers don’t under men’s feet size!

Crazy sizing but nice boots.

If only I'd read the reviews before buying my first pair! If you read this before buying, just assume you're two sizes smaller than usual. Other than that, the boots are nice, comfortable and very practical.

Bought these for my husband and he’s really pleased with them. They do exactly what a wellie should do. Reflective strip at the back is handy for nighttime dog walks

Waterproof and solid, but odd mix of styles.

Can't really figure these out. A good concept, but execution so-so. On the plus side, they're waterproof and, if you go one size down, a good fit. However, the elastic section has a large cut on the inside, making the waterproof level lower. Also the cuts are off different lengths. I glued mine up to improve the waterproofing and can still get them on easily. Also, the toecap and heavy soles makes them look like industrial wellies, a little lighter and you'd get away with a wider range of uses. As it is, happy with them for gardening, car washing and short walks.

These boots are not all them are cracked up to be

While these boots look ideal they are impossible to walk in. I’m a size 9 but they were far too big without an insole. To cap everything, due to the very nature of the boot one had to try to walk in them normally rather than wander up and down the hall. When I tried to return them, marks and Spencer refunded to refund me which led to me leaving them in the oxfam donation box. My advice DONT BUY THEM in the first place, they are not fit for purpose.

Go at least one size down

More than one size too big, I’m a size 9 and after reading reviews I bought 8s, still having to use liners and thick socks. The boots are however very good, great for dog walking in our British weather.

Decent boots, but very strange sizing

The boots seem to be a reasonable quality, although I’ve only worn them minimally so far. The very strange thing about them is the sizing. As others have said, it’s bizarre. My shoe size is always a 9. Having read that the sizing is on the large side, I ordered a size 8. They were too big too! I have now settled on a size 7, two sizes smaller than usual. Very strange! But the boots seem decent enough despite the wonky sizing.

I bought these for my partner. He is delighted that when he takes the dog out on a wet day he does not need to struggle with long wellies. They are quick to slip on, keeping you cosy and dry.

Really good product and strong sturdy sole. All other reviews are correct for sizing - 1 got 1 and 1/2 sizes smaller. And are still a bit loose.

I really love them but thje size is quite confusing. The 7 was a bit too short on length but good on width and the 8 is so huge. Luckily it is in rubber so quite flexible material. The difference between the 2 sizes is huge.
