Bought for someone else and materials are good quality work well just in different ways to hot water bottles just not hot water or risk of burns in that way although hot water tends to keep warmer for longer but work better for certain age groups just to warm through

This was a gift for my Mother in Law who has Osteoporosis and a very sore curved spine. She found it very helpful around her neck and waist. The only odd thing was that the fur became very damp when we heated it for the first time. I was able to dry it in our tumble dryer and that helped subsequently.

Outwardly the product is fine but when I put the heat pad in the microwave as per instructions it came out feeling damp. It was like wearing a damp towel unfortunately.

The outer casing of this product is made of very soft and cozy faux fur. The interior “beanbag” which must be heated in the microwave is rather heavy. It takes a bit of effort to place it back in its furry casing, it’s a bit fiddly and awkward. The product can be draped across/ around the shoulders and neck and is pleasantly warm, though I would like it a bit warmer, but fully accept the potential risk of overheating and injury. Again the weight of the item is a bit heavy, but must be borne if you want the warmth!

Bought it for my sister who has back problems. So much more helpful that individual heat packs as you can tie it around her middle to keep the aches at bay and keep her warm. Also looks lovely.
