Unfortunately only 3 stars as the first pair came apart at the seam, but M & S customer service exchanged straight away and the replacements are both comfortable and stylish.. would recommend

This is about my fifth pair of these slippers, bought over many years. Like another reviewer, the new pair stays upstairs and the scruffy ones for downstairs including quick visits into the garden etc. They are cosy, comfortable and good value.

I've purchased a couple of pairs of this style of slipper from M&S over recent years, on behalf of an elderly relative, and they have been great. BUT the pair that I purchased for her a couple of weeks ago are not a patch on their predecessors. The main gripe is the soles - why a raised "stud" pattern? Being an older person, this silly addition to the soles gives her an unsteady feeling. A smooth sole is more sensible. Plus she also feels that the slippers are a tighter fit than previous ones, even though she has slender feet. She won't be buying any more of these.

I love moccasin style slippers. However this pair rubbed on the top & felt very tight. I buy this style every year & never had this before. Will try a size 4. Apart from the fitting on myself would still recommend these but maybe size up.

Bought these in pink looked lovely after wearing for about 30 minutes I could feel something irritating the inside of my foot. It was where the sole and the upper were joined the stitching or join was badly made. So I sent them back. I have bought these before and they have been ok and comfortable but this is the second time I have had a badly made pair. The last pair the inside fur came out all over the house really badly. So I think M&S need to inspect where these things are being made because they’re not up to standard.
