I returned this but only because it hung from the stomach area like a maternity smock on if I went for a smaller size then the bust would not have fitted me.me

Okay, so let's be real here, this is a shirt perfectly designed for those of us who are pretty busty or designed for comfort not speed! It is so great to be able to buy a tunic style top where the pleat on the bust is stitched down within the collar setting so doesn't flare out like pregnancy wear! The cutaway neck is a great minimizer too and it sits really well enabling you to be able to wear jewellery but not display too much cleavage! The button on the short cuff is easy to get in and out of the buttonhole and is sturdily sewn on. The material is thicker, definitely not flimsy but not so heavy that it is not good for wearing at parties or out for dinner, and just coming out of menopause I am really conscious of anything that will help me overheat! Highly recommended, is a good length too and was very comfortable with leggings and boots but would also suit a soft skirt or wide legged trousers so you could dress it up or down. Size was a little snug so I bought bigger one too but bear in mind I may also be suffering from 'lockdown delusions' about any consequences of all the lockdown baking!

I liked the style but found this on the small size with tight sleeves & I also didn’t like the rough feel of the material. I returned it for a refund

A nice garment which would have been useful. However when I tried it on the side seams sat differently. Poorly made with wavy seam. Returned.

Great but go down a size

Wanted a tunic to just pull on over jeggings and this is great for that. Good length and decent material that doesn't overly crease. It's a generous fit so I would suggest going down a size unless you are wanting an oversized shirt look.

I was looking for a easy to wear black top that would go from day to night and look smart, this was not it. Shapeless and way too long, I am 5ft 6inches and it was 6 inches above my knees, almost a mini dress. Tried it on and sent it straight back.

Go down a size, this top is huge!

I bought a size 22 and had to swop it for a size smaller as it was enormous. Wish M &S tops were produced in a more consistent size. In the correct size, it’s a good purchase.

Despite being a size 18, this was tight on the upper arms - and my upper arms aren't large. It is very long, coming down almost to my knees on my 5' 1" dumpy body. A great disappointment all round.
