Felt firm but comfy when I first put them on but by lunch they were rolling down and causing awful lines that I had to change. Not the best

Going to keep them as not expensive but the tummy control is minimal

I have been buying these for at least 3 years. They are superb. They definitely keep my bulges in place. I order a bigger size for fit and although they look small when out of pkt they stretch. I put them on as if they were stockings. Gently rolling them up to avoid tears etc and keeping your fingers straight. They don’t roll up at leg or waist.

Sizing is awful

I am a size 12, 5ft5... had to buy an extra large and even they were hard to get on! I did originally buy a size large but they were too small. Very disappointing buying a size you think you are and then not being able to return them because the sizing is WAY out. They are very smoothing when on and good value for money. I do fear though that if i had long nails there would be a hole in them already from trying so hard to pull them up.

Wear these a lot in summer when don’t want to have tights under dress. Good value compared to similar products from elsewhere. Mine have washed A LOT and lasted well. Medium control at most. Helps give a smooth outline under close fitting dress/ skirt.

They come up very small so please buy at least 1 or 2 sizes up. Very comfortable when you get the right size

Very small when you take them out of packet, would fit a three year old. Stretch well but would not stay up.

These were just what I was looking for. I wanted something to wear under a dress to stop my legs sticking together at the top when sitting down. I’m normally a size 12 in trousers and have slim legs but after reading the reviews I ordered the extra large size and I’m so glad I did, they fit perfectly and were comfortable to wear and absolutely did the job.

I am a size 16. I ordered size L and XL They wouldn't fit a six year old child. So disappointed. Since all your clothes are made abroad, there isn't any quality control. Fabric is shabby on a lot of your items.

I'm a size 16. I ordered a large which was too small, and I spent the day trying to stop the waist from rolling down. Then I ordered an extra-large which only just fits. They are uncomfortable to wear. I bought them to stop chafing but material is quite rough so it chafes more. I won't be buying more

Smothing shorts

Don't expect these shorts to work miracles, they are not firm control slimming shorts. They won't reduce you by a dress size, they are effectively the top of a pair of control tights, and a mis-placed thumb will easily make a hole as you pull them up. But... if you are careful pulling them up, they are great for smothing a few minor lumps and bumps, they help wobbly thighs and bellies be slightly less wobbly, and they provide a smooth surface for summer dresses to skim over. Once on, they're comfortable to wear and stay in place (on me). I'd give them five stars, as they've become a mainstay of my summer underwear, however the sizing is not generous; at 5ft 7 and size 12, the large fit me perfectly (larger ladies might struggle to find a good fit).

Poor Quality

The best thing about these shorts is the design & fit. The length of the shorts can be adjusted to wear long to the knees or pulled up for shorter dresses. Also, the band at the bottom of the legs and at the waist are very comfortable and does not cut into the fleshy areas. The sizing is on the small size, but after a few wears it stretches and goes on easier. Now for the negatives. The low price reflects the poor quality. Don't expect it to get a lot of wear from it. The bottom of the legs gets bubbles like an old well worn jumper would! Most manmade fabrics clings to the surface of the shorts, so you have to be continuously pulling down your dress/skirt! Slips and linings clings to it for dear life, so these are continuously gathering and bunching up under dresses! The back and front seams are very pronounced so is visible under thin close fitting dresses, you have to be sure to centre these seams! Worst of all, the material feel itchy and uncomfortable between the inner thighs when wearing dresses!

I wish I had read the reviews before buying. I bought the xxl - I'm a size 24. I had to wear these tights to a wedding as they were my only pair. I don't know how I got them past my knees, the "comfort waist band" didn't reach my waist and rolled down repeatedly all day. Quite honestly the most uncomfortably tight pair of tights I've ever worn! I would return them but I've worn them now.... it's about time marks and Spencer catered for the more curvy figure - there are a lot of us about! Tights for the curvy figured woman are difficult (if not, impossible) to find in high street shops.

Very poor quality and tiny, unwearable, surprised M&S sells these, particularly under own label.

I like this product. I think it’s the only control garment I’ve bought that doesn’t ride up! It stays put and does what it says on the tin. My hips are 39” and Medium fits me perfectly - yes, they are tricky to get on (especially straight after a bath or shower), but really comfortable to wear. My only improvement would be more control over the tummy area and to lose the front seam. I’m going to buy a couple more though so that says it all. Thumbs up from me.
