Leather Ankle Strap Sandals

I wish that I could have kept these sandals because they are fabulous, however they were just too high for me to wear comfortably; I wish that they had been half an inch to three quarters of an inch shorter. I had, regrettably, to return them. They do look more expensive than they were - they would give designer sandals a run for their money.

I loved the style of these sandals and the height as well as I am only 5ft 3”. I wore them to a wedding and I must say found them very uncomfortable because the front of the shoe under the ball of my feet was so thin. I love a highish heel on sandals that ALSO have a bit of a platform sole so that there is cushioning and the angle is not so great.

Ordered as soon as I saw these and collected in store today. Unfortunately like so many of the reviews on here, the ankle strap is uncomfortable. And all I did was walk a short area within the changing rooms. Also the left shoe 'back strap' gaped dramatically although the right shoe rear strap fitted properly. I tried to tighten the left shoe to overcome this issue, it didn't work. I don't have wide ankles nor skinny ankles! But average ones! They are a great price if they work for others, but unfortunately not for me. Obviously there is a serious issue with the strap fitting. Btw, they were also very fiddly to buckle up! Sadly, I reluctantly got an immediate refund.

I bought these as a wedding evening shoe having worn high heels all day. They were comfotable enough to dance in and wore them into the wee small hours. They are perfect for dresses and trousers so i bought another pair in a different colour! The leather is soft, the heel height comfortable and supportive with lots of cushioning under foot. I vary between a 4 1/2 and 5 but bought the 4 1/2 which are a perfect fit!

Lovely sandals very pleased with them. Nice mid height heel and look like the very expensive designer brand so all round very pleased.

This is an attractive sandal, I ordered in tan and white. The leather is lovely and fits my narrow foot perfectly apart from the ankle strap. Like other reviewers the buckle seems to catch my ankle somehow. I don't have large ankles I think the strap sits too high. I love this sandal but not sure that they'll be comfortable long term. Both colours are great the tan is just right not orangey like some. They are great value and look more expensive. Jury still out at moment but I think I'll be returning because of strap. Heart says keep though.....

As other reviewers have commented, these sandals are low cut across the base of the big toe (where my feet are widest) which meant they hurt my feet too much to walk in them. There is too much length in the strap that goes vertically behind the ankle. Though my ankles are small and I can fasten the buckle, the ankle strap is manufactured too short and I cannot imagine that the flimsy elastic it fixes (stretches) to the buckle with would last for more than a season. Shame, as I love the colour and style and desperately willed them to fit! Please M and S, sort these issues and produce this style in a wide fit and it would be a total winner.

I ordered the sandals online and they are even better than the photo, soft leather, lovely heel height and so modern can not recommend enough

I love these sandals, the are modern and excellent value for a good fitting leather shoes. The only thing I struggled with was the ankle strap was a tad short. I would recommend them for sure

Sandals looked great but sadly the ankle strap let them down - too small with the buckle digging in to my ankle. Had to return them.

Aesthetically pleasing but strange heel strap, far too long and the front straps also gape. Also, you definitely need to go down in size.

A beautifully stylish pair of sandals. Fit is true to size. Heel height is flattering but not too high and they are very comfortable. The price is very reasonable considering the sandals are leather.

I returned these sandals as they were not flattering when on and the heel was heavy.
