Floral Empire Line Midi Tea Dress

Unfortunately returned for refund. Didn't like the style at all and it showed every lump and bump. Had bought a Ghost dress earlier in the year, which is wonderful, but was really disappointed with this one

I had seen this dress in store and lived it. When I saw it was in the sale I ordered it on line. Unfortunately the fit wasny for me so I returned it.

I was disappointed with this dress - especially as I already have a number of other M&S Ghost dresses which I really like. I loved the fabric, colour, tie sleeves and the fit on top but the lower tiered part of the dress was too voluminous. Another reviewer has commented that it would make an ideal maternity dress and there is so much fabric that she is absolutely right! I would have kept the dress but felt it was too shapeless around the waist and did nothing for me.

This is a lovely dress the colours are so pretty,wasn’t sure if it would be too long for my 5’2” height but given the fashion to wear slightly longer lengths I think it is perfect. I purchased size 14 which is a lovely fit, it makes me look slimmer, I think this is due to the bias cut on the skirt. Would definitely recommend to give it a try.

Sent back because of size not fitting and material not very comfortable.

M&S gave me an excellent click and collect efficient service. Got this dress for my daughter's wedding...fit perfect, to size guide, complimentary, colours remindedme of tooty fruity...so happy with it.

Glad I could get this in my size - I’m often just too late when these lovely prints go on sale. Very comfortable dress, can be dressed up or down.

I wore this the day after it arrived and received so many compliments.It fits well and with so many colours in the pattern it’s so versatile to mix and match the look with different jackets and cardigans etc.

I bought this dress for my granddaughters christening as it looked good in the photograph. Cheery in colour and I think like a traditional tea dress. I returned it as it wasn’t special enough for the occasion. The material is viscose - a material I usually like but this dress didn’t hang well on me. The colours I loved and true to the picture

Dress arrived and looked nothing like the dress in the photo

I found after only wearing the dress for a couple of hours the zip started to irritate me under the arm and left a red mark.

Just something about this dress I had to get it. Tried size 12 (my usual size) and because of some reviews a 14 which too was too big. The second 12 I tried fit perfectly the very helpful assistant said they did vary in size slightly and the second one was slightly bigger. I have worn it a few times and had some lovely comments very flattering dressed up or casual.

The colours and pattern of this dress are absolutely gorgeous. The dress itself didn't quite work for me, though. It's quite a small...or rather, narrow fit. It was perfect across the shoulders and bust, and although I'm really rather slim, it's quite fitting from the bust line down. I did feel that it needed a lining...for the price, there's not much dress. The main reason I didn't keep it, however, was because the sleeves differed: one was larger in circumference and just didn't hang correctly. A shame because I fell in love with the colouring.
