Midi skirt

Yes, I recommend this
The colours go well with a plain white or plain navy blue t shirt, both bought from M and S. I'm normally a size 10 but found the size 8 fitted me better. It sits nicely on the hips and has a gentle flare. As I am short the regular length is longer on me. A short length would be good as an option on skirt length.

A lovely floral skirt

Perfect for summer and can dress up or down with a pair of trainers or heels. The elasticated waist allows you to eat as much as you want without feeling guilty. Very flattering in all the right places however a tad loose around the waist :)

My new absolutely favourite skirt

After reading the reviews I was hesitating to buy this skirt. However, as it went on sale and became a real bargain for only £8 I decided to give it a try. And I don't regret. It is absolutely a fabulous piece that once on you don't want to take it off. Love it dressed casually with flats and a t shirt as well as dressed down with heels. As for the seams that some reviewers mentioned, I don't find it a problem, and agree with sone others that this is how the shape is achieved. Just wish I tried it earlier, so could have bought it in other colours too.

I wanted to like this

Such a disappointment I so wanted to like this and whilst the style and design was lovely the fabric was horrid. It was ditsy and old fashioned and all a bit synthetic and shiny. Sorry another return

Absolutely awful skirt

The material is awful and feels /looks cheap. More like silky nightwear than a skirt. It certainly isn't what I would expect from M+S. Went straight back. Extremely disappointed

I hadn't realised when I ordered this skirt online that it would be so shiny and I nearly didn't try it on, as I thought it would be difficult to match a top with such satiny fabric. However, I did try it on and I am really pleased with it. I am borderline 16/18 and ordered size 18. The 18 is very comfortable with its elasticated waist and I could probably have ordered a 16. I ordered a long (I'm 5'4'') and it sits mid-calf. The style is very flattering. It curves in and gives my legs a really nice shape. I ordered the navy and white skirt and I've teamed it with a silky white top and navy jacket for work. I read about the puckered seams in reviews and I agree that the seams are not perfect but I guess this is how the lovely shape is achieved. I am definitely keeping this skirt and considering buying other colours.

I should have paid heed to the reviews that mentioned the side seams being puckered. I thought that this would have been rectified ,but i was wrong. Terrible finish, should never have passed quality control. Shame as style was nice

This skirt has a very, very pretty printed design and I really like the style but I thought it would be more chiffony and not satin. Because it's satin it has much more of a special occasion feel which isn't what I bought it for so I'll be sending it back. There is a problem also with gathering along the side seams where it should be smooth which needs sorting out.

Purchased for Mother's Day present. Poor shape - baggy at side seams and too long for a regular fit. Returned.

Pretty skirt and pattern. Non crease polyester. Good enough fit on me. Regular fit seems to be going longer every time I purchase a skirt. Read the reviews on the plain skirt about the side seams being wavy/puckered but thought this could be a one off. Unfortunately the seam didn't hang straight on both sides of this skirt. Sorry it's going back.
