Lovely coat, exactly what I wanted - longer than my down jacket, a gorgeous colour (lavender grey) and fits really well. I'm a 12 and went for that as I have narrow shoulders and the cut is really flattering. Go up a size if you want to fit a heavier jumper underneath though. It folds up really small and is very lightweight, so great for travel too. Perfect for chilly autumn evenings and fits under my raincoat if necessary. Highly recommend.

I bought one of these super coats a few years ago In a different colour and am still wearing it, after many washes. The black one was a must have as soon as I saw it. The style is slightly different - a bit slimmer in the body, but pretty much the same as my other one. The only difference is the hood. It's detachable which is good, but apart from that, it's awful - hence the 4 stars. It's just too big and falls down over the face. It's impossible to adjust even with the elastic cords. I've had to make a big fold at the back of the hood and stitch it all the way along. Luckily I'm good at sewing. Otherwise a lovely useful lightweight coat which is warm and cosy.

Just what I wanted to replace my last similar jacket from M & S. A good length to cover my bottom, long enough sleeves, a cosy hood, ligtweigt and warm enough for shopping trips if not for mountain treks.I have spinal problems so I always appreciate a jacket with lined sleeves making it easy to slip on and off. Rather a dull selection of colours

Love these coats but wish they were cut a wee bit more generously. It's not good for your morale to have to size up! i love the shade, lavender grey.

I will enjoy wearing this coat, it is showerproof and warm and almost knee length on me (I am 5ft 3") and it has a hood as well!

I visited Gemini M&S to try on coats. There was a great selection but it was this coat that i loved the most. I dont like anything too heavy or bulky - being a woman of menopausal age and prone to hot flushes! This coat is lightweight but i know it will be warm on the coldest of days. HOWEVER this coat is very small. I had to order it in a size up and even then, it was just fitting me. M&S please sort your sizing out. Every coat i tried in the same size came up different. I do love this coat and cant wait to wear it.

I ordered this after reading reviews and I’m so pleased with it. I wanted a coat which was warm but not too heavy and this coat is so light! I hate feeling weighed down in the winter by a heavy coat so this will be a game changer. Feels like it will keep me warm (hard to check in august heatwave but it’s very snuggly) Hood is a generous size with a toggle to tighten around my face. Nice and long almost to my knees (5ft 6) I was a little worried about sizing as some reviews said the coat came up small, I am usually 8/10 in coats so ordered a size 10 and size 12 to try. The size 10 was plenty big enough even with my thickest jumper on. Lovely coat, I’m looking forward to wearing it! P.s no feathers visible

I ordered a size 12 and it’s perfect, love the colour! It’s lightweight but that doesn’t mean to say it’s not warm and cosy!
