Faux Leather Tie Waist Midi A-Line Skirt

I really like this skirt but it is true it fits small. I went up from 16 to 18 and now it fits well.

The material is very soft and feels like real leather. I'd read the reviews and ordered two sizes up, but unfortunately I had to return it because it was too big. The smaller size was no longer available, which was a real shame because the skirt is a lovely style and a bargain at £22.

Purchased in the sale so skirt was a great price. Received the skirt earlier this week, great quality, length and fit, very happy with it.

I bought this skirt in my usual size, having not read the item reviews that the skirt fits small. I have since sent the skirt back and re-ordered it 2 sizes bigger, which fits perfectly!

I bought this in a bigger size after reading reviews. It was still small on the waist so will be returning it once shops open again after lockdown

Was really looking forward to getting this. Friend bought 1 & it looks great. I bought it 2 sizes bigger than I currently am and I can't get it done up. Has to go back & not prepared to go up another 2 sizes. I'm 6ft and an 18 when the 22 is way too small contemplating going up to a 26 takes all the pleasure away of the skirt.

I was a touch concerned having read some reviews that this skirt was on the small side for the respective size. I'm so pleased that I didn't take any notice and ordered my normal size for M&S (12 L) Well I'm delighted to say it fits perfectly and the waist is perfectly comfortable - neither too tight, nor too baggy. It looks just like leather and I can't wait to wear it out (roll on the end of Tier 3.....please)

Love this skirt. Unlike other reviews I found my usual size 12 is a perfect fit. So glad I didn't go up a size. So soft and slimming. Definitely recommend.

I read the reviews carefully and, rather than buy my normal size 14 I bought a 16. When I tried it on, it fitted my hips well and skimmed the stomach bulge but was much too big in the waist. My waist is 32" . I measured the waistband and it was 34". The fabric is soft and sleek and looks and feels like leather. I loved it, but decided to order a size 14, thinking it would fit better. It didn't. It is my understanding that size 14 should fit a 32" waist. The skirt was far too tight and when I measured it, it was just over 30", which is what a size 12 should be. This means there is a 4" difference in the waist measurement of two consecutive sizes, which isn't right at all. I sent back the 14 and kept the 16. As it fastens with poppers, there is no way to alter the skirt but luckily it has belt loops so I can cinch it in with a belt. I am 5'4" tall and bought the long skirt, as I wanted a midi length. It looks very good but M&S, please sort out your sizes. I have tops that range from size 8-16, all of which fit me but are obviously not sized properly. In the old days of St Michael, I could walk into an M&S store confident that I could pick my size off the rail without trying it on, and it would fit. Sadly, I can't do that any more.

Bought this skirt to wear through the winter with smart shirts and knitwear. A size 16 fits quite snugly; I am a 14, and the overall effect is good. I would advise going up a size.

Looked different to how I thought it would. I liked the sort of wrap look but when it arrived it had poppers down the front, which weren’t horrible just not what I was after. Material felt nice and belt was lovely, but returned as not what I was after.
