Cotton Parka

I purchased this coat in the recent sale and was so pleased that my size was still available. However when trying it on my elation soon went . I could not get my arms into coat, the whole garment was way too small. I took it too my mum to see if she wanted it before I returned it and even though she is a lot smaller than me she had exactly the same problem. The coat was labelled for the size I ordered.

I picked this Parka up in the sale, so it was great value and I am really pleased with it. It fits very well and is warm enough to wear in the Spring & Autumn. I have worn it in the rain and it kept me dry. It is a gorgeous colour blue. I would recommend it.

I purchased this jacket in blue in the sale unfortunately the colour didn’t suit me. It would of been an excellent buy if you liked the colour, well made and nice quality.

I bought this Mac to wear at those in between times of the year when showers are likely and you need a bit more warmth than an unlined Mac provides but don’t need a fleecy warm lining. Colour goes well with denim, navy blue and black outfits. Sleeves far too long for me, but can be turned back to fit.

I returned this item I felt it was poor quality material for the price it creased very easily

Love this parka, love colour and is comfy and great fit. I did go up a size in case wear chunky jumper.

First the positives - lovely shade of blue, which is attractive without being gaudy and goes well with many other colours. The fabric is soft and flexible, and the body lining is thankfully 100% cotton. The pockets and fastenings are good and the drawstring can be used to improve fit (as advised by other reviews I rounded up a size). It is a perfect length and has a substantial hood. Now the negatives - I search in vain for jackets which are 100% cotton and I was disappointed to discover the outer layer is only 79% cotton, the rest being polyamide. I'm hoping the cotton lining will mitigate this. Why the sleeves were lined with the awful sweaty stuff that is polyester is a mystery - I have removed those linings. I have also shortened the sleeves by 6cm by raising the cuffs - it seems to be a common misconception by clothes manufacturers that when ladies get fatter their arms grow longer - who knew? Why 4 stars? Because this is the nearest I have found to a comfortable cotton jacket of a sensible length in a colour that I can use! I only recommend it because some people are not so fussy about man made fibres.

Bought this in both colours..kept the ochre..will be good to wear over most colours. Wasn't fussed on the shade of blue of the other one...just personal choice. Don't believe it will be in anyway waterproof but I'll check that out at some stage. Good size hood will allow room for hat underneath. Good size pockets too...will hold phone, purse etc if you don't want to carry a bag. Size 12 a bit tight - size 14 a bit big. Kept the 14 as will likely wear with sweater underneath. All in all pleased with it :-)

Sorry to say sending back. Just not keen on material or colour for me, but that’s just a personal choice

I bought the parka in air force blue, which is a lovely colour. The parka is just the right length with deep pockets and the waist can be cinched to give a more fitted look.
