Cotton Blend Striped Waisted Midi Dress

Bought this dress in the Sale, wasn't quite sure about it, but the fit was good and just easy to wear, the material creases but that is to be expected from cotton/linen mix. I pressed it before wear and it looked good, let's hope it's fine after washing. The midi length was good, can we have more dresses that length please M&S as getting older the legs are not what they used to be!!

For me this dress fitted perfectly. Luckily none of the issues other reviewers seem to have had. I love it and got compliments when wearing. I was lucky to get it in the sale too. Plus it’s lined. Super lightweight perfect for a warm day. It looks awful on the hanger, but great on.

Very flattering style But the sizing was very wrong I am a standard 12 in Marks & Spencer’s clothing but I had to return my first order for a size 10 which did fit me albeit slightly tight around the bust but I kept it as I loved the style

The dress was lovely but as I’m 5ft 2 the waist wouldn’t sit on my waist plus I ordered a size 16. Maybe if ud ordered a 14 the fit would have been better

Really liked the style and the inclusion of skirt side pockets. I Ummm Arrd, but in the end I decided to return the dress as I felt the dress gapped around the bust area. I would tell a friend to read reviews. Great value in the sale.

Liked the style on the model, but on me was rather weird. Back above waist ballooned out oddly but front was good fit. Sleeves fine on me but I have slim arms. Quality of fabric looked good. Just not for me.

dress was very big, though it was my usual size. Material thick for a summer dress, more like deckchair fabric.

I really wanted this dress to fit lovely fabric and style but the elastic waist was too low it sat on my hips instead of the midriff. Not flattering

Absolutely love this dress, feels really nice to wear. The only issue is the sleeve cuff is a little bit tight as it sits on the widest part of my (slim) arms

Ordered two sizes as thought I might have issues after reading reviews. Did not like the style as the waisted look was too tight and made the skirt stick out. Both sizes the buttoned sleeves were too tight. MTerial almost felt like mattress material.

I'm delighted with this dress. The fabric is soft but substantial and the dress hangs very well. It's very comfortable and the shired waist sits well. The three quarter length sleeves make this dress suitable for cooler summer days.

It was lovely on the model, on me, Im 5 ft, from the shoulders to the waist was too long so the elasticated waistline was below my waist and the pockets sat on my hips, too low for me. Material was lovely, when you make a size ten you should make it in proportion, sleeves were also too long as was the skirt section. Material was nice. I find nowadays, ive been a good customer for 45 ish years, that the sizes arent true to what theyre supposed to be, some t shirts are huge around the hips and thats a small size. I hope you continue trading as I do like MS but you need to get sizes Correct. I do know what Im talking about as I have few clothes still from the past, sizes were correct then.
