Bought for 8 (nearly 9) year old grand daughter. She is quite tall for her age but I still had to downsize twice to size 7-8 as the whole set was massive and would have fitted my daughter in law. Having said that, this is a lovely set so I hope that she gets some wear out of it and doesn’t put on a growth spurt
