About this bottle: Wine has been made in the Rioja region of northern Spain since pre-Roman times and is famous for its soft fruity style. Cesar Fernández carefully selected ripe Tempranillo grapes to make this fine Crianza. Crianza wines must be aged for 2 years before release for sale. Cesar aged the wine in American oak barrels for 12 months of that time to soften it and impart a lovely vanilla twist to the flavour. Ready to drink now this wine will keep for 2 years if stored in a cool dry place.

Vintage: 2015

A mature, aromatic, rich red wine with flavours of toasted coconut, red berry compote, leather and spice.

About this bottle: The Rioja region of northern Spain has a long history of winemaking and its Gran Reserva is the most distinguished style. Typically it can only be made in outstanding vintages. Winemaker Cesar Fernández selects the finest Tempranillo for this special, complex red wine. He ages the wine first for 24 months in seasoned American oak barrels, he then ages the wine in bottle for a further 3 years to produce a silky red with flavours of fresh red berries, dried raisins and spicy notes.

A smooth, velvety red with flavours of dark cherry, liquorice, vanilla and spice. Perfect with roast lamb.

Using finely seasoned American oak barrels he ages the wines for 24 months and then a further year in bottle to produce this complex yet mellow red. Ready to drink now, this wine will keep for 3 years from the the date of purchase if stored in a cool, dry place.
