Other reviews have stated that this nightdress is too big a fit. Personally I think it's just right as I like a nightdress to be a roomy fit. The only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars is that I would prefer the neckline a little lower, but opening the buttons has the same effect. I would describe the colour as a "faded blue" and I think it suits the old-fashioned styling. Admittedly it's not in the least bit sexy, but the material is soft and I found it washed ok. If you want a comfortable garment to keep you warm in bed, this does exactly that.

Purchased this for my mother who loved it. But unfortunately after just one wash the hem line is already fraying. Not happy with this product at all.
Its a shame as it is a lovely design and style just does not have the quality that marks and spencer was once renowned for.

I am really pleased with it. The material is quite light, but it is still warm, perfect for some of the chilly winter evenings we have been having. Have a dressing gown in similar pattern I bought in summer. OK for now but it it gets really cold, I will be using the big fluffy purple one, I bought last year at a very good price on Black Friday. Well set up fro winter now.
I am 5'3, nightie comes just above ankle level for me which is perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Robyn44 Nice but huge!
The material is lovely - soft cotton and an attractive print and colour. However, the fit is absolutely vast - you could put three more of me into the nightdress! I do wish M&S would sort out their sizing: last month I bought three items all in size 16, and one was very tight, one fitted well, and the other was enormous. Why can't the sizes be consistent? I will take in the nightdress down the side seams, but it really shouldn't be necessary.
