Vintage: 2017

The Margaret River region, on the coast of Western Australia, is world-renowned for its fine, elegant white wines - this example, with zesty lime and tangerine flavours and a lingering, fresh finish, highlights the region's distinctive quality.

About this bottle: The beautiful Margaret River region lies south of the city Perth on the south-west tip of Australia. The finesse and excellent balance of its wines is mainly due to the sunny but relatively cool maritime climate there. This subtle, sophisticated white, a delicious blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, captures the perfect Margaret River character. Winemaker Richard Rowe has left the lively fruit flavours unoaked.

Vintage: 2020

An intense fruit-filled red from South Eastern Australia with enticing flavours of cassis, mint and eucalyptus.

About this bottle: An enticing Australian Cabernet Sauvignon with great balance and harmony made by blending together parcels of aromatic and tightly structured fruit with more generous ripe fruit styles. A touch of oak has added fine texture and freshness in this persistent and highly appealing wine.

Vintage: 2015

The Clare Valley has a long history of growing wine grapes stretching back to 1840 and is now home to many world-renowned wines.

About this bottle: Their Malbec is often hidden in blends, adding deep blueberry fruit and refreshing acidity alongside a wonderful floral note. M&S Winemaker Belinda Kleinig worked on this project with innovative winemakers Zar and Elena Brooks to let this fabulous grape variety shine alone, ageing it in a mixture of older French and American oak to give it complexity and to temper the tannic structure but not to dominate the flavour.

Australia has long made Riesling one of its classic white wines and no region makes a more classic style then Eden Valley.

Vintage: 2013

Classic Chardonnay with lively citrus aromas and underlying notes of vanilla. Crisp lime and apple flavours with hints of melons and stone fruit are balanced by buttery oak characters and a long, elegant finish on the palate.

About this bottle: Always warm and sunny, the long Barossa Valley summer days are perfect for ripening Chardonnay grapes. They make bold, ripe, fruit driven wines, full of mouth filling character. Winemaker Moreno Chiappin is Italian born, but has been making wine in Australia for over 15 years. His lightness of touch with this Chardonnay means that its fruity exuberance really shines, tempered gently with a touch of oak.

Vintage: 2012

Rich, smoky red bursting with berry fruit flavours and dusky blackcurrant flavours on the palate. A mixture of the plummy, gamey flavours of Shiraz, the pure dark fruit of Cabernet, and smooth vanilla of oak, this is the perfect blend to warm a winter evening.

About this bottle: Winemaker Brian Dominic has hand selected the grapes for this red (85% Shiraz, 10% Cabernet and 5% a mixture of others) from sheltered cooler sites inland of Australia’s fashionable Langhorne Creek. He harvests only after sunset, when their flavours are most balanced and rested after the searing heat of the Australian day.
