Rated 1 out of 5 by Nightie7 Most embarrassing day.
I wore these for the first time on a outing to a retail park to look for a new sofa. At just the first shop I discovered that these tights were round my knees with the elastic part hanging even lower. I had to find a quiet corner of the shop to pull them up but within minutes they were back in the same place. Totally embarrassing. What a waste of money. They will be going in the bin. What happened to Marks essential hold ups. I used to get the 10 denier in natural tan and they stayed up all day. Please bring them back and ditch the Autograph range.

These used to be excellent quality but this new version is VERY poor. The lace is cheap looking (previous incarnations have had a quality look and feel), the opacity is poor and uneven (previously thick smooth and solid in colour) and most annoyingly the band isn't sticky enough so they don't stay up (rendering them useless). The cheaper version which is no longer available was better than these. The first pair I bought are 3 years old and still look better than this version and stay up! Woefully overpriced, there are much better alternatives available anywhere. Shame to cheapen a product to the point of uselessness, won't be buying again.

Perfect for me in every way . They are easy to put on & stay up well . I don't get the feeling that they are in danger of slipping which I do with some hold ups . My only complaint is that they are only available in black . Please can we have them in navy,

Feel good but leg fell down after 1.5 hours. Expected better for £9.00. Stopped buying M&S holdups; they don't stay up. Gone back to Charnos 7 denier which last for ages

I bought these as they were the only opaque hold-ups on offer online and in-store. I was concerned when I saw they had the single adhesive band, as I have complained about this being useless before on other opaque hold-ups which where removed from sale. But I wrongly assumed these, being expensive, would stay up and that any problems would have been dealt with. No such luck! I had only walked downstairs and one stocking was round my ankle - useless and very embarrassing. Why oh why have you discontinued the 40 denier opaque hold-ups with the multi sticky bands? They were brilliant and remained so after many washes. And they stayed up - all day and evening!!!
