Rated 3 out of 5 by SaleBuyer Not M&S Quality
I usually buy the slightly pricier ones, which are my favourite, but decided to give these cheaper ones a go. These are not of the quality I would expect M&S to sell. They are very generous sizing (and I usually find knickers are too tight), and are full briefs rather than midi. The fabric is also really thin. The colours in the picture are also not accurate, the "cream" is actually white. With all that said, I did still find these wearable though, however I won't purchase again.

These may be only £5 but it is £5 down the drain. Don't waste your money. The style and fit is abysmal and of course once you have tried a pair you can't return them. Too large, shapeless, and poor quality.

I have worn this size of knickers for as long as I can remember, why all of a sudden, have you changed them beyond recognition? They look like they are two sizes bigger than my usual ones and the fit is terrible. When are you going back to the original sizing?

I so agree with the lady who spoke about the huge size and thin material (labelled "new improved"!) OK only £5 for 4 pairs, but as I've tried on a pair and can't wear them, a waste of money. Months ago I bought a 5 pack of these midi knickers: a lovely quality, fit and shape, which still look like new. Identical product code and size for this 4 pack, but oh so different! I'm a size 10 and although they sit just below my belly button they are huge, and such a quaint shape compared with the others. Yes M & S, please sort your knickers out: style names, material and fit, so we have some consistency and quality. I'd gladly have paid more for more of the previous ones.

I bought these to try. I do have a problem trying to find knickers to fit. I am 5' 1' and a size 6-8. I have to buy a size 8 because all the size 6 knickers are low rise shorts which I don't particularly like. These knickers are absolutely huge! They are made of very thin fabric, hence the price I suppose. Most of all my gripe is that they are not midi at all but full briefs. They do not look the same as they picture. When I tried them on they came above my waistline. Absolutely hideous!! I wish M & S would sort out their knickers. They used to be really nice and good quality, but not any more. And why do we have to have white in the packet? I never wear white underwear so they would have been thrown out.
