Even Better Clinical™ Serum Foundation SPF20

I only wear Clinique foundation, liked the sound of this but agree with others, the colour is not 'Ivory' as other foundations I've tried, the colour is more yellow and it doesn't go onto my skin as well, it ends up streaky and patchy. I thought I'd get used to it but I really don't like it! I shall stick to the combination of the stay-matte oil-free makeup and beyond perfecting foundation + concealer which I use together, they are great no issues and perfect colour. My skin glows and looks natural, with this it collects in the fine lines and pores even with the pore defying primer. Not what I expected at all, shame.

I don't like warm toned shades as I end up looking like an oompah loompah. I therefore always buy cool toned. I went for Linen as I'm relatively pale and this was supposed to be cool neutral tone. The first day I wore it, someone I asked me if I was ill as they thought I had jaundice! That's how yellow this foundation is. How can a cool neutral shade be yellow? An expensive mistake and one I won't make again.

I have been using Even Better foundation for a while and it always gave a silky finish. I decided to try Even Better Clinical Serum having spoken to a Clinique adviser. I needed more coverage as suffering with Rosecea. I have been using this a week now and it has really dried my skin out, looks chalky on and just doesnt sit on my skin nicely at all. Really disappointed and feel ive wasted money. I love clinique products but this foundation isnt great.

Good colour match technology but trusted the brand name too much because this Foundation looks awful :( settles in every wrinkle, separates on skin almost immediately even with primer and moisturiser. So disappointed :(

A little certainly goes a long way. I really liked the finish which settled well on my 45 year old skin. I used the colour guide to try and get a good winter/spring colour for my skin but it made me look yellow. Disappointing waste there. I will have to visit a store to test out.

Went in to store to see this, spoke to the consultant and explained I wanted something with skincare to help my maturing skin (35), as it's getting drier...did say I didn't like Matt too much and my skin is getting drier. In fairness to the consultant she did try some on me and it looked nice but when I apply it at home it just feels horrible. I see now on the website that it's for combo oily skin-no wonder it is making my face feel unpleasant. It does look great when first applied, I used Clinique moisturiser and primer underneath but a few hours in and it's settled in my pores and I look like my skin is even drier! It also transfers easily. I have tried multiple ways of trying to keep it as nice as it looks when first applied but nope, doesn't work-likely because I have the wrong skin type. I would imagine that for the right skin type it Spending £38 is a complete luxury for me, I haven't been able to purchase Clinique products in several years which indicates my finances, so I certainly cannot afford to purchase a replacement, so I'm bitterly disappointed. As the tittle says, which I'd read the reviews!

Perfect texture with a lovely mat finish yet still feels light on your skin.

Poor quality product for the price paid. This was not suitable for my skin at all - it was very drying and looked ‘caked on’ - I wouldn’t recommend without trying a sample first (if possible)

This is my first time using a full coverage foundation, and I am blown away by the results. The finish is absolutely flawless, yet it looks completely natural. I have dry combination skin, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my skin felt comfortable throughout the entire day - I only applied a cream blush and avoided layering additional powder products on top. P.S. One drop/pump goes a long way!

I really enjoyed this foundation more than I expected. It applied super well with a brush and I am very satisfied with the coverage.

My usual make up purchase. Suits my ageing needs.

I've tried this for the first time and I used a foundation brush, expecting the formula to be a bit more liquidy. The product was a bit thicker and would've been better applied with a sponge. However, I loved the finish and the coverage power, it hid even my red patches leaving a smooth glowing finish. It passed the transfer test as well. Would recommend this product for people with a more oily skin complexion

Disappointed, as I was looking forward to using a good foundation and matching concealer as brought both in Wn 04. I took time reading the reviews and prepped my skin. But even when using the brush and the matching concealer it didn't provide a flawless coverage. Feels like a waste of money as both foundation and concealer are expensive, along with the brush.

I tried a tester for this foundation and I'm glad I did before I purchased it, Was given neutral and matched perfectly as it was going on it was making my skin look yellow and it started going patchy and melting onto my skin. Not for me I'll go back to my original foundation
