I must admit that the retinol uglies got me good and proper! I had tried to use this some time ago and gave up when I thought I must have been suffering an allergic reaction. This time, I persevered. The first week, I applied every 3rd night. Again, I suffered from itching, peeling, flaking, and a burning sensation. "Mild irritation", apparently! So, I googled and found some advice about 'sandwiching' between moisturiser. I.e. a layer of moisturiser, the retinol, then moisturiser on top and increased usage to every other night. 4 weeks later and wow! What a difference. I notice a much improved complexion, I look about 10 years younger! I'm not going to lie, there is still some flaking and mild itchiness but, I'm so glad I persevered this time. The results are amazing. I am now confident that the flaking and itchiness will resolve in the next week or two.

I'm in my 40s and my skin has developed a really bad texture. I have tried a cheaper retinol product in the past from another brand which didn't have much of an effect so thought a more expensive product might be the solution. I have been using this for a few weeks and I'm amazed with the results. My skin is looking so much clearer and feels loads smoother. I did notice some dry patches so have stuck to alternate nights and in between have been using moisture surge overnight mask. I also made the mistake of not moisturising after using the product and now I've started to do this the flakiness has dried up. It is a bit on the pricey side for the small amount you get so will probably try and buy In conjunction with an offer again but definitely a great product with dramatic effects! Just be sure to moisturise or even use a heavier moisturiser than usual.

I love this product. I have very sensitive skin and after reading the reviews I was not sure if I should buy it. However I am so glad that I did. I've noticed the results already and I've only used the product twice. My skin is glowing and looks much healthier.

I wish I could report the same as other customers. I used product as stated and all was well at first but then I found when using toner my skin really stung and dry patches appeared. I have stopped using and skin almost back to normal. An expensive mistake.

I developed an itchy rash on my neck/throat despite following the instructions and making sure I wore sunscreen and stayed out of the sun. My face was fine though. Might return to using it but avoiding my neck area. I didn't try it for long enough to give a view on its effectiveness. Only used on a Tuesday and Thursday evening for about 4 weeks

I have pretty good skin; I look after it, regularly moisturise, wear SPF, exfoliate... all the usual. But having been WFH from March last year I have found my skin just looked dull and sallow. Being inside most of the time and dry radiator heat has not been good for me. I read the reviews on this product and was slightly wary about using it because I have had bad perioral dermatitis in the past, alongside sensitive skin. Starting using the product as recommended, and after an inital stinging sensation on my skin (slightly nice feeling... weirdly!) it stopped minutes after each application. Used it every other day, and made sure I put on Super Defence day moisturiser every morning due to the 20 SPF - even being inside. My skin looked a tiny bit red in the days but nothing noticeable unless you knew what you were looking at. So after two weeks of using it every other night, my skin is bright, glowing, and looks absolutely gorgeous! Even my BF who notices nothing actually commented! As this has just been to brighten up my skin I am happy to stop using it for now because it has done what I wanted - but I have loads left for the next time I want to give my skin a boost again.
