white sugar

M&S Distilled Seville orange gin
50 mL
M&S Spanish blood orange juice
10 mL
lemon juice
2 sprigs
Thai basil
1 leaves picked and torn, 1 left whole

Method

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Put the white sugar (100 g) into a pan with 50ml water. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved, then leave to cool completely.
Step 2
Put 10ml of the sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker with the M&S Distilled Seville orange gin (50 mL) , M&S Spanish blood orange juice (50 mL) , the lemon juice (10 mL) and the torn Thai basil (1 sprig) .
Step 3
Add a handful of ice and shake well until cold.
Step 4
Strain into a martini or coupe glass and garnish with the sprig Thai basil (1 sprig) .
