Collection hot Calabrian chilli

dried oregano

basil leaves , finely sliced
3-4 leaves, plus extra to garnish

Italian mozzarella , thinly sliced
1-2 slices
2 slices

Method

Step 1
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a griddle pan over a medium heat, then fry the sourdough (3 slices) for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the Calabrian chilli (65 g) with 1-2 tbsp olive oil. Mix in the oregano (2 g) and basil (3) along with some salt and pepper.
Step 3
Spread the chilli mix onto the toasted sourdough, then layer the mozzarella (1 slice) and salami (2 slices) on top.
Step 4
Finish with a couple of small basil leaves and any extra seasoning, if you like.
