M&S extremely caramely hot cross buns , halved
90 mL
M&S Distilled spiced rum spirit drink

Method

Step 1
Preheat the grill to medium. Toast the M&S extremely caramely hot cross buns (4) under a medium grill on both sides, until golden. Brush with the M&S Distilled spiced rum spirit drink (90 mL) before arranging in one layer in a large glass trifle bowl.
Step 2
Slice the bananas (3) lengthwise and arrange on a parchment-lined baking tray. Sprinkle with the demerara sugar (30 g) and dot over the butter (50 g) . Place under the grill for 2-3 minutes, until the sugar caramelises. Allow to cool a little.
Step 3
Pour the M&S salted caramel sauce (520 g) over the hot cross buns before layering over the bananas followed by the M&S Madagascan vanilla custard (500 mL) . Grate over the dark chocolate (80 g) . Gently whip the whipping cream (380 mL) until it forms soft peaks, then pile this on top of the custard. Finish by decorating with the M&S Scrummy Bunny Munch (1 handful) .
