M&S handcrafted all-butter puff pastry

goat’s cheese

figs , halved
1 handful
walnuts , toasted, roughly chopped

M&S free-range mixed size egg , beaten
to taste
M&S pure honey
to serve
1 handful
rocket
to serve
to taste
black pepper
to serve

Method

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200˚C/180˚C fan/gas mark 6.
Step 2
Lay the pastry (1 sheet) on a lined baking sheet and gently score a 2cm border around the edge. Prick the centre with a knife.
Step 3
Top the pastry with the goat's cheese (1) , figs (4) and walnuts (1 handful) . Brush the sides with the beaten egg (1) .
Step 4
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden, then finish with a drizzle of honey (to taste) , some rocket (1 handful) and cracked black pepper (to taste) .
