We are sorry that we will no longer be taking new furniture orders for delivery to customers based in Republic of Ireland from 13th March 2024. This is because we want to focus on growing our online clothing and home service. All furniture orders placed before 13th March will continue to be fulfilled, alongside all after-care commitments and guarantees. We will continue to sell all other home ranges online and in-store including bedding, bathroom, home furnishings, cooking & dining, home accessories, lighting, travel and brands.
When will I receive my order?
When placing your order, we would’ve provided you with an estimated despatch date. If you’ve ordered multiple items from us your estimated despatch date will be for your entire order and be based upon the product with the longest lead time.
As soon as your order is ready to be despatched you’ll receive a text or email from us asking you to select a specific delivery day.
Two days before your delivery, we will text and confirm your 2-hour delivery window. You’ll receive messages from us on your day of delivery letting you know that we’re on our way.
Please allow an additional week for delivery to Ireland.
Can I choose a delivery date and interval during the day?
Can I change my delivery day / address
We need three full working days’ notice to (not including the date of delivery) to be able to amend your delivery date or address. Any changes required after this date will incur a €35 fee and could cause a delay to your delivery.
Will M&S take away my old furniture when my new furniture arrives?
This service is ordinarily available for upholstery, mattresses and beds, but please note the points below. This service must be ordered with your new product and cannot be ordered after you have placed your order.
Removal charges are €55 for upholstery (per item) and €40 for mattresses and beds (per item), e.g. disposal of two sofas would cost €110.
We will only collect products from the same address as your new furniture is being delivered to.
The product(s) will not be removed if infested, wet, heavily soiled or dangerous to remove.
You must arrange for bedsteads to be disassembled prior to collection.
If you wish to return your order, you have 14 days starting from the day after your products have been delivered.
All products returned must, when received back to us, be in their original re-saleable condition. Deductions from any refund may be made by M&S for any excessive handling, such as: the disposal of the product’s original packaging, or where an item has been partially/fully built.
There will be a collection charge of €35 in total (which will show as a separate charge).
Please note that in all circumstances, you are responsible for any loss or damage to the furniture before it is received by us (except where caused by us), which will be deducted from any refund made to you. Our crew will take photographs of the relevant products on delivery to document their condition.
Our goodwill refund policy, which can be found within our General Terms and Conditions of Sale does not apply to furniture. Once your cancellation right of 14 days has expired, we will only give a refund in accordance with your legal rights, for example, if the goods are not of satisfactory quality or as described. Should you need to amend your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible on 0353 1695 0741. If you amend your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescales and the final price, which will include the newly added or removed product(s).
If you wish to cancel your order, please do so as soon as possible but no later than three days before delivery. Please call our customer service team 0353 1695 0741 and they will cancel your furniture order and arrange a refund.
You will not be charged to amend or cancel your order, provided you give us at least three clear working days’ notice (not including the date of delivery) before your originally agreed delivery date. Any changes after this point will incur a cancellation fee of €35 in total.
Please check your order confirmation documents carefully and ensure that the item, style, colour and quantity of the products stated match what you have ordered.
