Buying and sizing guides

Our buying and sizing guides help make shopping with us a breeze. So, whether you’re trying to determine your bra size or if that piece of furniture will fit in your space, you’ll find all the info you need here.

  • Our size guide hub will give you all the information you need to determine what size you are.

  • Our kids’ clothes are labelled by age for years 0-16, but you may find that measurements such as height are a more accurate guide.

Our size guide will help and is available to view on each product page. We also have a dedicated school uniform size guide.

  • See our furniture store finder. If there is a specific item you wish to view, we suggest phoning the store before travelling.

If you know which furniture item you wish to order but would like to see the fabrics available, you can find our fabric price bands and view and order upholstery swatches using our online fabric guide.

  • You’ll find the exact dimensions for each furniture item on the individual product display page. You should make a note of these to make sure your new furniture will fit through your doorways, hallways and up any stairs. If you’re replacing an existing piece of furniture, measure it to calculate the difference in size.

Bear in mind you’ll need to allow extra space for some pieces of furniture:

    • Dining tables and chairs need at least 60-70cm extra so the chairs can be pulled out
    • Divans with drawers need at least 40cm on either side of the bed
    • Recliners need 150-180cm to allow them space to recline

We also have some handy room guides for ensuring your new furniture will fit:

    Bedroom

  • If the range is still in stock online or in stores, you can order replacement items. Unfortunately we can’t replace any range that has been discontinued.

The companies below specialise in discontinued china and crockery products. They are not affiliated with M&S, so we can't guarantee what they stock or the prices they may charge, but they may be able to help.
