Seriously saucy buffalo chicken burgers

Southern fried chicken. Blue cheese. Buffalo sauce. Ranch dressing. Pickled chillies. More pickles. Could we fit any more deliciousness into one bun? We certainly don’t think so. You might need some kitchen roll to hand as it can get a little messy (especially if you love condiments as much as we do) – but it’s 100% worth it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 M&S southern fried chicken burgers
  • 2 brioche burger buns
  • 2 M&S Blacksticks blue burger slices
  • 6tbsps M&S buffalo sauce
  • 6tbsps M&S ranch dressing
  • 8 M&S pickled chillies
  • 8 M&S crinkle cut gherkin burger pickle
  • 1 iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 packet rosa verde salad
  • 2tbsps olive oil
  • 2tbsps balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 pack sweet potato fries

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6.
  2. Cook the chicken burgers according to the packet instructions.
  3. Shred the iceberg lettuce.
  4. Assemble! Add some ranch dressing to the bottom burger buns and top with a small handful of shredded iceberg lettuce.
  5. Liberally coat the chicken burgers in the buffalo sauce and add to the burger buns.
  6. Add the Blacksticks blue burger slice so it’s got a little time to melt. You can quickly pop it under the grill if you’d like it a bit more melty.
  7. Finish with pickled chillies, crinkle cut gherkin burger pickles and more ranch dressing and top with the other half of the burger buns.
  8. Serve with sweet potato fries and M&S rosa verde salad, seasoned and dressed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
