The four new dried pastas are lovingly made in Predazzo, Italy, by the Felicetti family, fourth-generation pasta makers. These exceptional-quality pastas are made by combining organic single-grain wheats grown in sun-soaked Puglia with spring water from the Dolomites, before being extruded through traditional bronze dies. This extrusion gives the pastas a rough texture, which is ideal for consistent al dente cooking and allows the sauces to really cling to the shapes. The pastas are then dried with mountain air before being packed in gorgeous and very giftable boxes. It’s literally Italy in a box!
To complement the pastas, we have created three new Collection pasta sauces, made to traditional recipes by our family-run artisanal sauce supplier in Calabria.
They’re slow cooked in small batches with Italian tomatoes and speciality ingredients that, in some cases (such as the fresh herbs), are grown right next door to where the sauces are made. Look out for gorgeous ingredients like Piedmontese mascarpone, Barolo wine, Calabrian red chillies and hand-picked mushrooms, and wild fennel from southern Italy.

Introducing our Collection early harvest olive oil, obtained from a single estate in Rome. It’s fully certified and traceable from field to bottle – the olives are grown on reclaimed abandoned olive groves, then carefully selected and cold extracted within six to eight hours of harvesting.
What’s more, the oil is unfiltered, which gives it its cloudy appearance and bright peppery flavour. Its bitter, fruity notes make it perfect drizzled over bruschetta with vegetables, or served with fresh bread and antipasti.

Did you know that M&S is officially the best place to buy pasta? Last year, we won the PAPA pasta retailer award for our fresh and dried pasta.
All our dried pasta is made in the Italian Alps by the Felicetti family, who have been making pasta for four generations. They use only clear spring water to make the pasta, and pure mountain air to dry it, which allows for the perfect al dente texture. Discover ideas below that pair regional pasta shapes with our prepared pasta sauces.
Lombardy: farfalle
Commonly known as ‘bow-tie’ pasta. The name comes from the Italian word for butterfly, and can be traced back to 16th-century Lombardy.
Serve it with: a light topping that will cling to the pasta’s curving surfaces, such as our tomato and basil sauce, which is made in Calabria to a traditional recipe using fresh ingredients and freshly picked herbs.
Lazio: spaghetti
While spaghetti is popular all over Italy, carbonara is a Roman icon – even though its origins are hotly disputed. Some claim it was brought south by the carbonari (‘coal men’) from Umbria.
Serve it with: our carbonara sauce, naturally.
Campania: penne
The name of these hollow tubes means ‘pen’. Penne hails from the Campania region in southern Italy, and its ridges are perfect for soaking up rich tomato- and meat-based sauces.
Serve it with: our spicy ’nduja and tomato sauce.

Looking for the perfect match to you antipasti, pasta dish or pizza? Then explore our new range of Found wines, which features unexpected and undiscovered wines from around the world. Our top picks? Try our ribolla gialla, which is made from grapes grown on the stony soils of the Grave area in Friuli by a family-run winery. Winemaker Giacomo crafts this blend exclusively for M&S and ferments at low temperatures to produce a floral, zesty wine with ripe notes of peach and orange and complex hints of almond and sage. It’s delicious with fish dishes like prawn risotto and calamari. If you fancy a red that pairs perfectly with tomato pasta dishes, try our nerello cappuccio, made from a rare grape variety native to Sicily, that’s deeply coloured and fruity with perfumed notes of redcurrants, violets and roses.
