Single Button Chuck on Coat

Great chuck on coat for casual wear or even smarten up a bit with a scarf ETC. Good colour to go with any colour.

Read review which said fittedlarge so bought size 20 my usual size for a coat. Very small over my hips but a size bigger would have been very big on the top. I thought the material felt harsh.

Fit was fine for a throw on jacket. Just what I needed

Great colour and nice style of coat, purchased on sale so very good price. However sleeves were too short and fit was on smaller size. Coat is unlined and will not be of any use in the rain, also as its unlined it’s extremely clingy. Not for me so have returned.

Another disappointing item from m&s Over recent years thr clothes have become poor quality which is a shame as you could always rely on them as good staples. Unlined coat which I don't see the point of, very screwed up, you could tell if you sat down in it for a short period it would crumple, very cheap looking sad because I loved the style & fit

I ordered the Navy in a size 16. This is my usual size and I prefer a relaxed fit, so this coat is ideal. I chose it as the single breasted style is a more flattering choice for me. I now wish I'd bought it in the Grey too! I like a smarter look and clean lines, and this neat little coat delivers that. In my opinion this is a true Navy colour. I find that sometimes it's difficult to tell if a item is Black or Navy, and this is definitely the latter. The only improvement I'd make is for it to be lined, but at the bargain price I paid, I'm fine with it's quality and finish. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I’m a standard size 8 but this was just too big. Shoulder pads made me look like I was dressing for an 80s reunion. Not sure what is happening with M&S sizes?

I chose the navy coat as I wanted something quite smart for spring. After reading other reviews I decided to size down to a 12 as I’m almost always a 14. When it arrived, I couldn’t make up my mind if it was too tight so ordered the 14 too which turned out to be just a little too loose. However the sleeve length on the 14 was much better. This is the second coat I’ve bought from M&S with short sleeves, why do they change sleeve length with size?? Material seems okay though I haven’t worn it yet. As I got this at 20% reduction, it’s probably worth it but would have returned at full price due to poor fit.

Looks lovely with a dress or Jeans going from smart to casual. Light weight, but fairly warm and an excellent fit.

Bought this throw on coat in navy . Looks great with jeansj and jumper now and later with a white t shirt or striped Breton top for spring . Love it !
