A tantalizing array of aromas and flavours - blackberry, blackcurrant, cinnamon, liquorice, vanilla, coconut, white pepper. This wine combines weight and intensity with an elegant fresh flavour.
High up above the Duero valley at 650 meters above sea level this vineyard produces a small crop of slowly ripening Tempranillo grapes. Their fresh fruit flavours are preserved by controlled low-temperature fermentation. Winemaker Óscar Rodrigues has aged the wine in selected new oak casks to add richness and complexity. To retain flavour and complexity this wine has not been filtered during production.
