Good Quality

Usually buy reading glasses online which are very cheap and cheerful and don’t last long. Tried these and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of frames and lenses, vision is much clearer when reading, I would highly recommend

Good clear lenses, comfortable to wear. Pretty frames.

Glasses too narrow for men?
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
Glasses are quite narrow width-wise making them too tight. The size is more appropriate for women. Lenses are fine

Poor quality

I only used these 3 times before the arm fell off. I really liked the fit, and what they look like, I expected better.

Great quality for the price readers

This is the second pair of these reading glasses. The first pair got broken on one arm as they are sprung and when folded into a pocket the arms move about a bit. I liked the style and the tortoiseshell colour is nice and chic. For the price, the quality is excellent and I save these for best as it were. I’m taking more care with these ones. The fit across the face is good but they are slightly long in the arm for me so they do droop forward and down my nose at times but as I only need them for reading I quite like this as I look over the top most of the time wandering around.

I've had these glasses for 22 months, not really caring for them as well as I should (not keeping them in a case, just loose in my pocket) and finally the plastic on one of the side arms has a small chip in it, and the screw is now coming loose every week or so. Given how little care I give them I wouldn't have expected them to last half of that time, so I am impressed. At first they felt a bit flimsy, but then I realised that the flexible nature of them makes them less likely to break. The side arms are lightly spring loaded, so they stay firmly on the face without loosening over time, or snapping when putting them on. There is one tiny scratch on one lens. Given the price, these are excellent value for money. I am now buying another paid as my prescription has changed.

Really pleased with these glasses. They fit nicely even though my face is quite narrow and glasses are often too loose. The tortoiseshell is nice quality plus they are such good value.

Six months use and broken

I was very pleased with my glasses, enabling me to read perfectly and an attractive style. However, one frame has split and the glass has fallen out. Now at the point of glueing together to prevent environmental waste. A pity as I have looked after them and I expect a robust pair from M and S. Overall good if they don’t fall apart!!

Bought as a back up or spare pair of readers. Very good price. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the glasses…the lenses and the frames. At the price, can’t go wrong with these, so recommended.

Ok, nothing special. Quite basic for the price and only one with a soft little bag to put them in no case. You could probably get them cheaper elsewhere
