It’s hard not to fall for our delicious summer range of al fresco food and drink
Eat your way around the world by enjoying tempting new treats from our popular deli range.
For a taste of the East we have Goan-style vegetable bites, Asian sweet potato bites, and tandoori king prawns. Or why not head to the Med and tuck in to marinated grilled peppers and chorizo and diablo cheddar rolitos? And let’s not forget our flavourful mini cheese and onion muffins – whatever you choose, you’re going to love.
This is an M&S picnic, with moreish snacks, salads and nibbles. We’re talking tandoori king prawns and Asian sweet potato bites, cheese-topped pork pies, chorizo lollipops, houmous with a pesto swirl and habanero hot wing-flavoured ridge-cut crisps. And for pud? Our Red Diamond strawberries are so juicy and sweet, they’re a good-for-you treat.
Here’s a top tip: fill an empty glass bottle with sprigs of fresh rosemary and mint to add to al fresco drinks; not only does this clever touch look impressive, it adds a subtle herby flavour.
Our healthy, protein-rich salads are not only flavour-packed, they’re full of the colours of the rainbow, which makes them the ideal addition to a nutritious, eye-catching picnic or al fresco working lunch. Choose from egg and avocado salad with a paprika seed mix and green vegetable dressing; bang bang chicken salad with pretty pinkstar cabbage and a crunchy peanut crumb; or our succulent king prawn salad with a yellow pepper dressing.
Nothing beats an impromptu post-work feast with friends or family in the park. New in store, our Street Market range of on-the-go snacks is inspired by global street food – think bang bang prawn noodle salad, fiery chicken tikka samosas, vegan gyozas and falafel with houmous. Our chicken katsu sando sandwich is right on trend, while our lime and miso salmon sticky-rice salad is beautifully balanced. Add premixed cocktail cans (hello, blackberry gin bramble) and tutti frutti grapes (they taste like the retro sweets) and you’ve got an Instagram-worthy al fresco spread.
