When it comes to wearing bold-printed pieces, Jane is a true expert. “I love experimenting and pushing boundaries, while staying true to my personal style. I'm influenced by my fashion design background, rather than fashion trends. I like to clash prints, colours and silhouettes, taking a less predictable approach to my wardrobe. For me, styling, is more of a feeling than following rules. I trust my eye and my instincts.”

“This look is all about print clashing and seeing the look fully put together, I can see a slight nod to the seventies. There are so many outfits you can create from each of these pieces – I could talk about it all day! Animal print-pants can be styled into a summer outfit for work with a long black blazer, a white T-shirt or singlet and a pair of patent brogues.”

How to wear sequins for Christmas

“This outfit just screams fun to me – I love a good sequin moment. The sequinned blazer is so versatile and can be worn with so many different outfits. I’ve paired it with formal shoes to elevate the look for the festive season, but you could wear the same outfit with chunky sneakers for casual summer drinks. For New Year’s Eve, style it with a red slip dress and heels.

“For Christmas day, wear this look with white or coloured sneakers then, in the evening, add a pair of platform heels. I love this beaded mini bag – it’s just big enough for a card and iPhone.”

What to wear for Christmas date night

“This Christmas, I’m looking forward to some much-needed catch-ups with friends and family. If, like me, you’ll be attending parties (I’m never the host!), I have one tip – be comfortable. Light fabrics like linen are your best friend when it’s hot and humid.

“This is a great date-night outfit, and you could style it with a sexy cami and leather jacket. However, I love the feel of this animal-print skirt paired with linen – white linen will always be a summer staple. There’s something about the colours in the skirt’s print that instantly make me smile! Finish the look with a pair of white sneakers.”
