WEAR IT YOUR WAY:
SUMMER STREET STYLE

As the world starts to open up again, we’re raring to ditch the joggers. Here’s how the M&S Insiders are styling their looks for warmer days

The khaki jumpsuit

Chances are most jumpsuits have been firmly abandoned at the back of our wardrobes for the past year – but now this cute khaki number is just what we need to strut back out into society again. “I love how practical but on-trend it is,” says M&S Insider Robyn, seen here wearing a belted khaki jumpsuit. “I paired it with white leather trainers to make the look more casual.”

The floral skirt

She may live in Edinburgh, but M&S Insider Nicola has still been able to crack out the summer-ready gear. As she says, “You just know it’s going to be a good day when it’s sunny and you can skip the coat, for a change.” In Nicola’s case, that means this gorgeous printed skirt, which looks great with a white T-shirt or cream cardigan, but will easily transform for winter with a black roll neck and boots.

The belted blazer

Always one to come up with original styling ideas, M&S Insider Dominique has us convinced that a longline blazer and a pair of jazzy leggings is the outfit we need right now. The “amazing linen blazer” is great for summer – made of natural, lightweight fabric, so you won’t overheat. Dominique describes the leggings as a “real showstopper”, adding, “I can’t wait to get dressed up, but I’m not yet ready to let go of my comfy leggings!”

The polka-dot dress

If there’s one fashion moment we’re most looking forward to this summer, it’s being able to dust off all our favourite dresses (and perhaps even treat ourselves to a couple of new ones – we’ve had a tough time, after all!). Here, M&S Insider Sophie wears her polka-dot, angel-sleeved dress with a versatile camouflage jacket – an easy way to try the mixed-print trend.
