Kids' Walkmates Leather Cross Bar Shoes

Poor quality the clip that was holding them together had taken the surface of the leather off sent them back

Lovely sturdy shoes. Colour matches nearly every outfit. Only negative thing to say is that my daughter managed to scuff the surface off both toes first time wearing them. Probably the shoes could do with some sort of coating to make them more hard wearing.

Extremely disappointed, I have never had to complain about the quality of an item from Marks and Spencer before and I am a very good, regular customer. The shoes themselves are lovely and an excellent fit for my 17 month old granddaughter but the silver covering on the leather scuffed immediately, before the shoes were even worn outside. They've been worn on three times and look awful. Not only scuffed around the toes but other areas on the shoe, the silver has just peeled off. Simply not good for purpose. I had bought them as the new Start Rite shoes recently purchased are pink and wanted another pair that could be worn with red clothes. I would welcome a comment from Marks and Spencer. They can only be used for indoor or garden/play use now. I would hope that this defect only relates to the silvered shoes and not those with a regular leather finish.

This is the second pair of walk mates I have bought. The first pair are fantastic but these looked really cheap as they had been spay painted silver and the paint was peeling off when I removed them from the packaging. The sole was coming out of both of them too. I took them back and they were surprised to find out they had only come in a plastic bag and not a box so maybe this is why. I was not impressed by them though so did not keep them.

Bought these for my 2 year old. Within minutes the colour was peeling away from the shoe. Returned the same day

My daughter wore these shoes the day she got them to a birthday party which was indoors. When she got home the shoes were scuffed completely. So I'm sending them straight back! So disappointed.
