Wasn't sure I was going to like these but eventually decided to wear them around the house. They definitely look better under trousers than skirts or dresses. The leather seemed to soften with wearing and became more flexible but they are not the most comfortable shoes I have bought from M&S. I wanted them to wear on a sight-seeing holiday soon so will persevere with them.

Loved the shoes . Ordered them in 4 1/2 and 5 as sometimes a 5 is too big. Unfortunately , the shoes were to narrow and very pointed so made my feet look big. My feet are narrow and shallow so I usually have trouble getting shoes that are not too wide but these were very tight so had to send them back

I debated as to whether to buy these shoes for a while, as I am prone to ankles which swell. When they arrived, I loved them immediately. The bronze leather colour is very distinctive and the brogue style is both classic and with a modern twist. I do luckily have slim feet, and the pointed toe shape is fine. The shoes are a little bit tight on the instep but as they are leather, I am sure that they will give. The tops around the ankles are wide enough for me which is a bonus. I have to gradually get used to all my shoes but it is so far so good with these brogues. I plan to wear them soon with a pair of 7/8 length trousers, which I am sure will look great.

I am wearing these shoes for the first time today and I am happy with them. I am a size 3 and they fit perfectly but I am wearing tights with them, they would be too tight however, if I were to wear socks so bear this in mind and maybe go for a half size! They’re a comfortable, versatile shoe that will go with jeans, dresses and skirts alike and the heel and sole are substantial enough for winter. They aren’t as ‘blingy’ as they look on line, they’re more subtle, so don’t let the picture put you off. Don’t be put off by the other reviews either, I almost didn’t buy them but I would say if you like them, give them a go – you can easily return them if the fit and style aren’t for you. Overall I’m very happy with them, a little glamour on a cold, dark winters day!

This is a great shoe if you like them very pointy. The colour is great, but the style was not good for me, though it could work for someone else.

These shoes are more bronze than silver, they are made of a very soft leather, but the toes are very pointed ,so ok if your feet are very narrow....so sad to return them as I loved the colour and style

Very disappointed at the fit around the ankles - huge gaps and therefore spolit the look
