Satin Asymmetric Shift Midi Dress

I loved the style of this dress and read the reviews which were mixed so decided to get it anyway . I am delighted with it. The fit is good. One review said it creased easily but I haven't worn it yet so can't comment on that. It's very feminine and has a slight 20s look and the grey is so pretty.

Lovely dress in colour and style. Easy to wear with heels or flat shoes.

After reading the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised.Yes the fabric does crease but it is very pleasant and soft to wear and I like the asymmetric hem. I am tall so I like the length and I am sure it will look chic with a long cardigan and white plimsolls. No complaints and I won't be returning it.

Generously sized. I am a 12 top and 14 bottom so ordered one of each. I'm keeping the 12; it fits perfectly at the top and around the hips is just about ok. The 14 is far too big at the top. Material does screw up. The 14 had been twisted around the hanger and the shoulders were very crumpled on arrival. However, I'm keeping the 12 so for £25 in the sale I will keep, wouldn't have paid £50 for it.

The dress is lovely. Spoilt by the tag which is situated on the handkerchief hem, the longest bit. I don't know what to do with it. Should I cut it off, it may look worse. I just don't know. How do I know you read these notes and heed the comments?

As in the other reviews this dress arrived really badly creased. However after hanging it up for a couple of days a lot of the creases dissipated. I bought this dress in the half price sale so it was excellent value. However the fit was not good. I bought my normal size as advised expecting a loose fit But it was too clingy and I had to return it

Lovely colour, attractive although lightweight fabric (it does crease, as another reviewer said, but seemed to be ok when hung for a while), and an interesting style, but when I put it on it just seemed unflattering and lacking in any "wow" factor. Underwear lines showed through so I would have needed to find a full-length slip the right length - the one I tried showed at the armpits which are cut quite low, and at the hem. On balance I felt it added nothing to my wardrobe and have returned it.

I love the style of this dress but it just wasn't right for me. I ordered the blush pink & it was a gorgeous colour but the silky material was a bit of a let down.

I always find it hard to buy dresses. If they fit my top half they're usually too big around the hips and waist. This one is a little too big on my lower half, but I'll have it taken in a little as it's such a beautiful colour and fabric that I'll get a lot of use out of it. The bias cut is really flattering, and the little frill on the skirt a really nice addition to the design.
