Pressed Glass Butter Dish

The item was faulty had scratches on the glass when I went back to the store to change it the ones in the store were all faulty so had to refund it which I wasn't happy as I wanted the butter dish.

This looks great. Not sure if it is part of the style or not, but it is rough around the edges - it feels cheap in that it feels like fancy packaging rather than a product in its own right. Small design flaw in that it is only just wide enough for the standard size butter blocks in the UK, so the lid has to be put on carefully so as not to get it covered in butter. I bought this as an everyday butter dish, but it’s probably going to get demoted to a novelty for the table at BBQs.

Simple design which looks nice out on the dining table.

I received my first one of these and hastily returned it to my local store where I then ordered a replacement. On receiving the second one of these dishes I decided to return and get a refund. The quality of this item is absolutely appalling and should be pulled. The glass has more of a green tinge, very much like recycled glass and looked and felt very cheap. Both of the dishes were heavily chipped with rough edges and cracks down the side. Not what I would expect from M&S at all, even the staff were shocked by the quality!
