Knot Front Vest Dress

I ordered this beach dress in turquoise and red. The turquoise is a pretty colour, the red is orangey red. Both dresses are spoilt by the gathered shoulders. They are ugly and look bunched, totally spoiling the look of this dress (for me). The fabric is slightly shiney with a slub. I felt the dress looked cheap and tacky. Last year I bought 2 of these dresses one in navy and one in b & w both had flat seams on the shoulders; very pretty and had complimentary remarks when worn. I've returned both to my local M &S the sales assistant commented on how nice the colour turquoise was, and added but I don't like the shoulders and how silly to put metal coins where they will touch the skin, imagine how hot they will get then burn the skin.

The only likeable thing about this particular dress is its colour, after that, it is rubbish. I think M&S should look at the supplier of this particular item with a view to not dealing with them again.

Love this dress and love the colour.I am 5ft 2in and length on my knees . The dress skirt has a lovely swing to it as well I have worn this as a day dress as well on hot days as well

Really easy to wear beach dress which could also be used to go out during the day on holiday. Loved the kingfisher blue colour

I'm 5'2" this dress was heavy and unattractive on me. Perhaps if you are taller it would look nicer. Had to return.

Unfortunately the sizing of this is off. I had to send it back because it was too large round the top. So unless you are big busted (which I'm not) get a size or two down from your usual. They've sold out of the size 6 probably because all the size 8 and 10 girls have bought them. Shame because otherwise it was a nice quality and stylish.

Bought 2 of these in different colours for my holiday abroad. Now really wish I hadn't. Dress is quite heavy so not good when packing in suitcase for plane! Also because material is thick and heavy it was too hot to wear in Cyprus. Needed cotton dress which I ended up buying out there. This dress probably more suitable for English weather.

I wanted a beach/evening dress that I could wear now (I am 20 weeks pregnant) and afterwards too if poss. I bought a 10 and 12 due to online reviews saying it came up big. I am normally a 12 and am a 12 in maternity clothes too. I chose the 10 in the end. It was the perfect fit, and didn't look like it would be too big for post partum either. Love the teal colour too. It was a little thin for evening wear but nice and thin and floaty for a beach dress - what its supposed to be:)
