WORLD BOOK DAY COSTUMES, SORTED
World Book Day on 7 March combines a love of reading with the fun of dressing up. Basically, it’s the best day ever!
One thing I love about World Book Day is taking the extra time to talk favourite books with my kids. The last-minute panic of finding an outfit? Not so much. So, this year I’m getting organised. I love this Alice in Wonderland costume (and she’s handily one of my daughter’s favourite book characters) and we’ve also got Winnie the Pooh, Harry Potter, unicorns, dragons and princesses. Of course, it’s not all about the dressing up. World Book Day aims to encourage a passion for reading. To help this along, every child in the Ireland will be getting a €1.50 book voucher which they can swap for one of 10 World Book Day books priced just €1.50 each (so you basically get a book completely free). The vouchers are distributed via schools and redeemable at your local M&S store. Happy reading!
